You were currently dancing with Jasper at the graduation Alice decided to throw. Jasper was hesitant at first, having this many humans in the house but he agreed that it would be fun to throw a party. You kept close to Jasper, seeing as you are the only person to truly keep him calm during bloody situations or if peoples emotions became too overwhelming. You both weren't really sure why you were able to calm him, but Carlisle guessed it was from you both being mates.
"I am gonna go get a drink." You let Jasper know before you maneuvered through the small crowd to get to the punch bowl. You grab a cup and began pouring yourself a drink, filling the cup until it almost spills.
"Fun party right?" A girl you recognize from your math class stands next you, grinning ear to ear. "It's so cool seeing the Cullen's house, but you've probably seen it a bunch."
"When I first saw the place I was definitely speechless." You smiled.
The girl opened her mouth to speak but winced suddenly. You glanced down to her hand and saw she was bleeding slightly from her hand. "Damn nails, I must of scratched myself on accident."
"Carlisle might have some Band-Aids in the bathroom. Nice seeing you!" You quickly left the area, leaving your drink on the table, and tried forcing your way through the crowd. You could see Jasper in the corner, his fist shaking and his eyes black in color. In the corner of your eye you saw Edward trying to get to Jasper as well.
"Jas!" You called his attention. His eyes snap towards you as you approach, his nostrils flaring. You place your hands on his cold cheeks while he place his shaking hands on your waist. "Focus on me. Focus on my voice."
"Darlin'." He leaned forward, resting his forehead against yours.
"That's right, focus on me and me only, Jasper. You are strong, you can push through this." You spoke affirmations to him softly but he could hear you clearly. His eyes were still dark when he opened him but there was a small smile on his face. "Are you feeling better?"
"Yes I am. Although I think I need to take a walk out side." He took your hands from his face and placed a chaste kiss on your lips. "I am so lucky to have you, sugar."
"And I you."
