Max Dillon is being interviewed at OSCORP to be an electrician. The interview is being held by Dr. Otto Octavius. Dr. Octavius treats Max like his own son and sees a lot of himself in him so Octavius hires Max and he’s the happiest he’s ever been.
With Peter, he is just waking up and getting dressed for school and walks out thinking about what job he should get. He then sees an ad for a picture of Spider-Man for $300. He makes a mental note and goes to school. He talks to Gwen about going to the Bugle and about the project Gwen and Peter are working on together with Dr. Connors, but Harry is not with them and Gwen is starting to get worried about him.
After school, Peter goes to The Daily Bugle where he meets J. Jonah Jameson who sent out the ad. He takes one look at him and laughs in his face, but he shows him some different art. After careful consideration, Jameson says get those Spider-Man pictures in by Friday or he doesn’t get the job.
That night , we are introduced to Dr. Connors’ lab at OSCORP. His wife, Martha will be working with Peter and Gwen and Doc Connors to work on the serum, but in order to do that, they need a certain liquid that these eels are swimming in, but it is unfortunately too great for the filters in his lab so Max Dillon on his first day of work fixes it and a huge accident happens ending the episode and putting Max in the hospital.
