jisung got off the bus, smiling when a peculiar building came into view.
it's been a while since he went to look at the locations he wanted his second bookstore to be in, and after taking some time to figure it out, and talking it out with the rest of the group, jisung made his decision.

"hello mr. han, good to see you again."
an older shoe repairer said as he walked out of the  building jisung have just purchased.

"same to you."
jisung smiled, shaking the repairer's hand.

"I'm so glad that you bought this place. we started thinking that we will never find a buyer."
the repairer chuckled.

"I'm pretty sure someone would buy it eventually. I mean, this building is in a really pretty location. not to mention the beautiful story behind."
jisung said.

"yeah, you're right."
the repairer chuckled, before giving a stack of the same keys in jisung's hand.
"please take care of it well."

jisung gave him a reassuring smile.
"don't worry, I will. I know this place was being loved and cherished for a long time, and I'm not going to change that."

the repairer gave jisung a one last smile, before patting his shoulder and leaving towards his car, driving away.

jisung looked at the keys in his hand, before opening the door of the building and walking inside. it was empty, absolutely empty. no shoes, no equipment for repairing them, absolutely nothing.

jisung was standing in the middle, looking around.
this place was his.
he was going to turn this place into his second bookstore.

even tho he already owned one, this felt completely different. with his first bookstore, it was given to him. he might have changed the inside and redesigned it to his liking, but that's all.

now, he himself picked this location. and he was going to be starting from scratch, also something he hadn't done before.

a proud smile made his way to his face.
I made it.

seungmin was sitting by the table, scrolling through instagram, when a plate with fresh cooked food was placed in front of him.

"I honestly don't want to work on that project."
hyunjin said, before sitting on the opposite side of seungmin.

"why not? I think it's a good way to get closer to everyone from the office, and we can increase our social interaction."
seungmin said.

"it's pissing me off that minho leads it."
hyunjin said.
"did you know that he's dating jisung?"

"oh my god, I didn't."
seungmin lied.
"well, I wish them the best."

"I don't. jisung is such a pussy. running to my best friend for protection."
hyunjin said, annoyed and a bit angry.

"what do you mean protection? when the three of us were hanging out here together when you and jisung were still dating, they seemed like they had a good chemistry. minho even helped jisung prepare the fruits and everything."
seungmin shrugged.
"besides, why are you getting so worked up about it? do you...still have some feelings towards jisung?"
he said, his heart paining a little as he did so.

"I don't. but don't you realize how stupid it is? I lost my best friend because of this. and jisung is now happily dating him?"
hyunjin stabbed his food with a bigger force than was needed.

"I still don't understand why you're getting so frustrated. it's not something you have to worry about, nor it does concern you or affect you in any way. so just don't think about it anymore."
