twenty nine

minho was at work, doing his job.
but there was just something he couldn't ignore.

seungmin was looking kinda...off.
he wasn't sure how to put it.
he looked sad, exhausted, just done.

and even tho they didn't really talk that much to each other, minho still thought about seungmin as his friend.

so he decided to make sure he was okay.

"hi seung."
minho said with a small smile, holding his tray.
it was currently lunch time.

"hi."
seungmin said, a little taken aback.
they didn't really speak that much anymore.
minho had a lot of work, and seungmin...well, he couldn't really bare the guilt.
he saw how minhos and hyunjins friendship ended, and he was a huge cause of it.

"can I sit here?"
minho asked, pointing at a seat in front of seungmin.

seungmin nodded.
"sure."

minho sat down, taking his fork.
"so, what have you been up to recently?"

"nothing much."
seungmin shrugged.
"I'm just working, nothing really interesting."

"how about your boyfriend?"
Minho asked.

seungmin tensed up slightly.
and minho noticed.

"everything is fine."
seungmin said, taking a bite out of his food.

"hey, I know that we aren't exactly the closest, but I'm still your friend, you know? you can talk to me if you need to."
minho said.
"I noticed that you...aren't really yourself. you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to of course, I'm not making you, but if you needed to get something off your chest...I'm here."

seungmin sighed.
"am I that obvious?"

"maybe, maybe not. I don't know. I'm just really observant."
minho said, taking a bite out of his food.

"well..."
seungmin started.
"things with my boyfriend are a bit...complicated."

"how so? what's wrong?"
minho asked.

"you know, our relationship had a really...weird start. maybe that's why we don't really...understand each other I guess? we don't listen to each other, and I don't know...I just...feel a bit unloved?"
seungmin sighed.

"have you tried...telling him that?"
minho asked, feeling bad for seungmin.

seungmin snorted.
"he doesn't listen to me. in his eyes, he can't do anything wrong."

"maybe you should try and explain it to him."
minho said.
"I think that if you tell him that you're unhappy in your relationship, and that you feel unloved, he should try and make some change in himself if he truly loves you."

"and how can you be so sure about this?"
seungmin leaned against his chair.

"because I would do so if my boyfriend told me he didn't feel loved."
minho said.

"wait...you have a boyfriend?"
seungmin asked, shocked.

"yeah."
minho smiled.

"damn. how long are you guys dating?"

"two weeks, not that long."
minho shook his head.
"but I love him so much. that's why I know that if your boyfriend truly loves you, he will try and be better for you. if my boyfriend came to me, and told me that he was miserable in our relationship, I would do anything I could to make him feel better. because I love him, and I want him to feel it. I want him to never have to doubt about my love for him."
