after minho got his lunch, he walked to the tables, looking around to find a place he could sit at, when his eyes set on seungmin, eating alone again.
and he thought that he could ask him how it's going with his boyfriend.
so he walked towards him.

"hi."
minho said with a small smile.

"oh, hi."
seungmin lifted his head, smiling slightly.

"can I join you?"
minho asked.

seungmin nodded, so minho sat down on the opposite side of him, putting down his phone next to his tray.

"I gotta say, today's lunch looks amazing."
minho admitted.

"yeah, and it even tastes good, so double win."
seungmin chuckled slightly.

"so, how have you been?"

"ah you know, the usual. what about you?"

"I'm good. enjoying my life to the fullest, you know?"
minho said, taking a bite out of his food.
"damn, it's actually pretty good."

"told you."
seungmin smiled.
"how are things with your boyfriend?"

"very good, better then good. he's the best boyfriend I could have asked for."
minho said, a huge smile on his face while thinking about his lover.
"but I could ask you the same thing. did you talk with him about your feelings yet?"

seungmin sighed, looking down.

"I'm assuming it didn't go quite well."
minho sighed, feeling bad for the younger.

"yeah. I told you already he's not willing to listen. I knew it couldn't end well, so don't feel bad about it."
seungmin said, moving his food around with his fork.

"you know seungmin, I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but have you ever thought about leaving him? don't get me wrong, but I just feel like you're not exactly the happiest with him. relationship should bring you comfort and happiness, and I just...don't think that that's the case for you."
minho said, hoping the words didn't come out in the wrong way.

seungmin leaned against his chair.
"we're just going trough a hard time. he loves me, and I love him, so I don't have any reason to leave him."
he said, trying to convince minho, and maybe even himself.

"yeah, of course, I didn't mean to sound rude."
minho said.

seungmin closed his eyes, sighing.
"yeah, I know, I'm sorry. I'm just really stressed and I lash out for no reason."

"it's okay, don't worry."
minho gave him a small reassuring smile.

just then, a notification popped up on minho's phone, which made his lock screen appear. seungmin didn't mean to look, but he unintentionally looked at it, his eyes widening.
"why do you have jisung as your lock screen?"

minho looked on his side, seeing his phone lit up because of the notification.
"oh, I completely forgot that you actually know jisung."

"wait, is jisung...your boyfriend?"
seungmin asked.

minho nodded.
"yeah, it's him."

shivers ran down seungmin's spine when minho finished the sentence.
"I...I'm so happy for you. really."
he said, before getting up.
"excuse me for a sec."
saying that, he walked toward the bathrooms.

throwing up into the toilet, tears ran down his face as he leaned against the stall's wall, holding his mouth to muffle his cries.

seungmin felt so guilty, and so disgusted with himself. he had no idea why, it wasn't a big deal that minho was dating jisung. he had no idea why it got to him so much, and why he felt so much guilt inside of him.

finally getting up after a few moments, he walked towards the sinks, cleaning his mouth and his face, trying to make it look like he wasn't just sobbing ten seconds ago. he looked inside the mirror, holding the end of the sinks.

he couldn't believe himself.
he couldn't believe that the reflection in the mirror was him.
where did that smiley seungmin go?
the guy who laughed at everything, and always had a huge smile on his face?

seungmin looked down, letting out a sigh, before washing his hands and walking out of the bathroom and making his way back to the table, where minho was still seated.

"are you okay?"
minho asked, clearly a bit worried.

"yeah, I just really needed to use the bathroom. I was on a meeting earlier and didn't really have the time for it."
seungmin said, sitting down again.
but he wasn't eating.
he was just playing with his food, while continuing to talk with minho, sometimes letting out a chuckle.

minho finally finished his food.
"well, I gotta go. you had a meeting in the morning, and I have a meeting now. see you later tho?"

seungmin nodded.
"yeah."

minho gave him a one last smile, before taking his tray and walking towards the place where they left them, before walking out of the cafeteria.

seungmin watched his every move.
treat him well, please.

minho pulled up in front of jisung's bookstore, peacefully waiting for his lover to come out.

he didn't have to wait that long, and just few minutes after he arrived, jisung and jeongin walked out of the bookstore, saying a quick goodbye's to each other, before jisung made his way to the familiar car.

but his eyes widened when he opened the door of the passenger seat just to see a beautiful bouquet laying on it.

"hi sweetheart. did you have a nice day?"
minho said.
"yes, the flowers are for you, not for the car. you can take them."

jisung slowly picked them up.
"did you do something wrong?"

minho chuckled slightly.
"what do you mean by that? can't I get my amazing boyfriend flowers?"

"I....you can of course."
jisung nodded, sitting down, still holding the bouquet.

"do you like it?"
minho asked.

"I love it. I'm just confused."
jisung said, staring at the flowers.

"why?"
minho furrowed his eyebrows.

"I thought you're only giving your partner flowers when you did something wrong. and you already brought me two bouquets."
jisung said.

"that's not how flowers work jisung. you don't need to do something wrong to get a bouquet for your lover. I think it's a sign of love and gratitude."
minho said, caressing jisung's thigh.
"so don't worry, I didn't do anything wrong, or something I should be ashamed of. I'm just expressing my love to you."

jisung smiled, nodding.
"okay."

minho returned the smile, before cupping jisung's cheek and pulling him closer, connecting their lips in a sweet kiss.
"let's go home now, hm?"
