walking thought the glass spinning door, jisung found himself in a building he was lastly seen in years ago.
holding a lunch box in his hands, he made his way towards the front desk.
"hello."
jisung said with a small polite smile.
"what can I help you with?"
the secretary asked.
"I'm here to give a lunch to my boyfriend. lee minho?"
jisung said.
"can I see the lunchbox? it's just a standard check so I know you're not bringing something...you know."
"oh, yeah, I understand."
jisung nodded, opening the lunchbox, showing just a box filled with food.
the secretary nodded in approval.
"his office is on the third floor. from the elevator you will go straight left and go trough the open door office. there should be a name tag on the door."
"thank you."
jisung said, bowing slightly, before making his way towards the elevator.
as the elevator went up, jisung let out a shaky breath. the secretary said he had to go trough the open door office - aka, the place hyunjin had his desk at. if he was at his table, he would definitely have to face him.
and that was the last thing he wanted right now.
with a ding, the elevator's door opened, jisung closing his eyes, secretly praying he won't run into hyunjin, before making his way left, just like the secretary told him.
just moments later, he was walking trough the open door office, looking around cautiously.
but he let out a sigh of relief when he didn't spot hyunjin. he was probably at a meeting, getting lunch, or just using the bathroom.
and honestly, jisung couldn't care less.
the only important thing was that he wasn't here.
following the orders of the secretary, he smiled when he finally arrived to the door.
to his surprise, it was actually opened, and jisung could see his boyfriend sitting by the desk, doing his job.
"oh wow, my beautiful hardworking boyfriend got his own office with the promotion?"
jisung smiled, leaning against the door frame.
minho's eyes widened, brightening when he saw jisung standing by the door.
"oh my god, what are you doing here baby?"
"ah you know, I just decided to come over and give my boyfriend some delicious lunch."
jisung smiled, walking into the office and closing the door behind him.
"I'm free today, and since I already took care of what I needed, I found a really tasty recipe and decided to try it. I actually think I did a pretty good job."
minho smiled.
"you definitely did, and I don't need to taste the food to know that."
"you're giving me too much credit."
jisung snorted, before walking to minho.
"what are you working on?"
"ah, nothing important."
minho turned in his chair, resting his hands on jisung's waist and gently pulling him closer, as he stared caressing jisung's hips.
"but I have been thinking about something."
"tell me."
jisung said, putting the lunch box he was holding on Minho's desk, Minho's hands never leaving his waist.
"I want to get hyunjin fired, together with his lover."
minho said.
jisung sighed.
"minho-"
"just hear me out okay?"
minho said.
jisung just looked at minho for a moment, before nodding.
"thank you. so, I'm 99% sure that hyunjin's lover is working in this company. before you and him broke up, and we were still friends, he sometimes brought up interesting thought or things, just to say he was joking afterwards. and it would just perfectly add up with the fact that you told me he was coming home, just to leave for work later on again. there was a change in the CEO around two years ago. the old one retired, and his son took over the company. if I should be honest, he's an amazing boss, maybe even better then the old CEO was, but that's not the point. the point is that when he became a CEO, he forbade having a relationship with your coworkers. of course he wasn't that stupid or mean, so if you were married, or been together before the change, you were allowed to stay together. but hyunjin and his affair partner weren't together before that. so, if I just figure out who it is, I can report them to the HR and they will both loose their job."
minho said.
"minho...isn't this...too much?"
jisung asked.
"no."
minho said without hesitation.
"he hurt you. not just hurt you, he took advantage of you, manipulated you, and did such an awful things that I have to hold myself back from punching him whenever I see him. this is nothing compared to that."
jisung smiled sadly.
"I know that what you're doing you're doing for me, and I very appreciate that. but I think it's just unnecessary. yes, he hurt me, manipulated me and took advantage of me, but if we will continue thinking about it, we will never be able to move on from it. the best thing would be if we just forgot about it."
"I want him to pay."
minho said, subconsciously moving his hand to lay over the scar on jisung's hip.
"I want him to pay for what he did to you."
"and he's going to pay. karma will get him, not you."
jisung said.
"I made peace with what happened to me. I don't want it to keep coming back to me. so I don't want you to pursue this plan."
minho sighed, closing his eyes and resting his head on jisung's belly.
"I just love you so much. I can't bare the thought of him living freely and happily without getting any justice. he raped you, he should be in prison right now."
"I know baby, I know."
jisung started playing with minho's hair.
"but like I said, I accepted my past. so don't worry about it, okay?"
minho sighed, finally looking up at jisung.
"alright. I promise."
jisung smiled, kissing his forehead.
"good boy. I'm gonna go now, but enjoy your food. tell me how it tasted when you come home, okay? I will be waiting for you."
"don't tell me that or I will be rushing home right after you leave."
minho said.
jisung chuckled.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
minho smiled, taking jisung's hand and kissing the top of it.
moments later, jisung was leaving the office, closing the door behind him.
