minho was at work, sighing as he leaned against his chair. today was his birthday, and he didn't have the time to do anything special.

not even jisung had time. he told him that he didn't have to pick him up today, since he has some things to take care of in the area, and then he will just go home by bus.

getting up from his chair, he made his way into the small kitchen, ready to get himself some coffee. his whole mood just wasn't it, and he thought that coffee would help at least a bit.

he was a bit surprised to see a familiar face.
"oh, hi seung."

seungmin turned around, giving minho a small smile.
"hi. how are you?"

"could be better. I'm kinda tired."
minho said, walking closer.

"what coffee you want?"
seungmin asked, taking out a mug from the cabinet.

"cappuccino will do, thank you."
minho gave him a small smile.

"wait, isn't it your birthday today? it's 25th today right?"
seungmin said, looking at minho.

minho nodded.
"yeah."

"happy birthday then! wanna grab some food after work? I will be paying."
seungmin said, a huge smile on his face.

"I would love to, but I have to go home to feed the cats, because jisung will come home late."
minho said.
"maybe you could come over if you wanted."

"well, it's really up to you, since it's your birthday."
seungmin shrugged.

"i mean...if you have time..."
minho said.

seungmin chuckled.
"i'll meet you at the garages."

minho parked his car in front of his apartment, seungmin parking right behind him, and both of them made their way towards the door.

"so, what do you wanna do?"
seungmin asked.

"I don't know, maybe we could cook something and wait until jisung comes back."
minho shrugged, opening the door and walking inside.

they both took off their shoes, before they made their way further inside, into the living room.
and minho's soul almost left his body when he turned on the lights.

"happy birthday!"

minho's eyes went wide when he saw his friends standing in the living room, his boyfriend was in the middle, holding a birthday cake.

seungmin walked right behind him, surprised to see all of this.

jisung walked towards minho with a huge smile.
"I baked it myself."
he said proudly, holding the cake a bit higher.
"make a wish."

minho had a huge smile on his face, before kissing jisung's cheek.
"I already have everything I could ever wish for."
he said, before blowing the candles.

cheers could be heard around the room.

"yo bro, happy birthday!"
beomgyu said, almost jumping on minho.
"sorry I didn't text you anything, jisung insisted we stay silent so this would be a bigger surprise."

minho chuckled, shaking his head.
"oh, guys!"
he said, getting everyone's attention.
"this is seungmin, my friend."

seungmin gave everyone a small smile, bowing slightly. he suddenly felt a bit awkward being here.

"hi seungmin, I haven't seen you in a while."
jisung said, giving the younger a huge smile seungmin felt like he didn't deserve.

"yeah, it's been a moment."
seungmin returned the smile, his hearth beating faster then it should have.

"how have you been?"
jisung asked.

"yeah, it's going somehow."
seungmin said, his smile dropping slightly.
"what about you?"

"I've been amazing. recently I've been working on opening another bookstore. I was honestly never happier."
jisung said, smiling.

"I'm glad to hear that."
seungmin said, feeling a bit better.

"come, let's introduce you to everyone."
jisung said, gently grabbing seungmin's wrist and leading him towards minho and his friends.

it's been a few hours, and everyone left, leaving only the couple behind.

jisung sat down on the couch next to minho, holding a wrapped present behind his back.
"and now it's time for my gift."

minho turned to face jisung, smiling from ear to ear.

"please don't be disappointed."
jisung said, feeling a bit worried.

minho chuckled.
"I would never be disappointed by a gift. especially from you."

jisung smiled slightly, before putting the gift in front, offering it to minho. minho took it, giving a reassuring smile to his boyfriend, before he started unwrapping the gift.

"it's a date calendar. for thirty days, you will scratch one box with a date idea on it, and we will do it."
jisung explained.

minho's eyes softened, looking at his boyfriend, before cupping his cheek with his hand and pulling him closer, connecting their lips in a quick kiss.
"I love it. thank you so much."
he said, before he looked at the calendar again.

jisung leaned towards minho.
"and another gift will be waiting for you in the bedroom in thirty seconds."
he whispered into minho's ear.

minho's eyes widened, his lips parting a bit. jisung got up, as he stared to walk away, but minho quickly got up and gently took jisung's wrist, pulling him towards himself, before pushing him against a wall, putting his hand on the back of jisung's head so he wouldn't get hurt.
"you know my love that I'm not exactly patient."
he said, before connecting their lips.

jisung's hand traveled to minho's nape, pulling him closer then he already was. minho took both of jisung's hands, putting them over his head, holding them in place with his one hand, his other hand making its way to jisung's hip, gently squeezing it.

minho let go of jisung's hands, putting both of his hands under jisung's thighs, picking him up without breaking the kiss. jisung moaned, wrapping his legs around minho's waist.

if minho could, he would do jisung right here, against the wall. but jisung deserved comfort, so minho started walking towards their bedroom, surprised that he haven't bumped into anything, or accidentally stepped on one of their cats.

laying jisung on the bed gently, he finally broke the kiss so he could kiss jisung's jaw instead.

"t-the door. cats."
jisung moaned out.

minho groaned, placing a quick peck on jisung's lips, before quickly walking towards the door, closing it.

and only the two of them know what happened next.
