fifty two

minho drove jisung to the bookstore, his hand on jisung's thigh the entire time, caressing it with his thumb.

jisung was looking out of the window, smiling like an idiot.
he was actually engaged.
he had a fiancé he was going to marry.
he was going to have a wedding.
that just sounded so crazy to him.

"what is my beautiful sweetheart thinking about?"
minho asked, briefly looking at jisung.

"about you of course."
jisung said happily, taking minho's hand from his thigh and gently kissed it, before he laid it on his lap and started playing with minho's fingers.

minho let him do whatever he wanted, as he continued driving carefully. of course he drove carefully, he was driving his most prized possession.

parking in front of the bookstore, minho gently took jisung's jaw and pulled him in for a kiss.
"bye sweetheart, have an amazing day. I will pick you up later."

jisung smiled.
"you too have an amazing day. think about me a lot~"
he poked minho's nose gently, before opening the door of the car and walking out, waving at minho, before making his way inside his beloved bookstore.

minho just chuckled, and after making sure jisung walked inside, he drove away.

"hi jeongin~"
jisung smiled when the younger arrived to the bookstore.

it was already afternoon, and it's been a while since a customer walked in, so jisung was happy he would have someone to spend the time with.

"hi hyung."
jeongin smiled, walking in the back and taking off his coat, before walking back towards jisung.
"how was the day so far?"

"really good. a few older people came around ten, and we had some other younger customers in the early morning, which I still find crazy."
jisung chuckled, taking his water bottle and taking a sip.

jeongin's eyes went wide, before grabbing jisung's arm and pulling it towards him, almost making jisung spill the entire bottle.

"what the actual fuck?"
jeongin asked, looking back at jisung with wide mouth.
"did lee minho propose?!"

jisung just smiled dumbly.

"holy shit jisung that's amazing!"
jeongin said excitedly, hugging jisung.
"congratulations!"

"thank you."
jisung chuckled happily.

jeongin pulled away after few moments.
"you have to tell me everything! how did it happen? did he have you kidnapped and blindfolded just to transport you to a beautiful-"

"okay jeongin calm down what the fuck are you even talking about."
jisung said, amused.
"I got proposed exactly like I would imagine. he came home with flowers, we cooked a delicious dinner together, and then he proposed to me while we were eating it. simple, comfortable and cute. I wouldn't want it differently."
he smiled, looking at the ring.

"well, I gotta say, the ring is absolutely beautiful. like I'm convinced he just walked inside a jewelry store and asked for the biggest diamond there."
jeongin said, looking at the ring as well.

"oh I'm pretty sure there are rings with bigger diamond. but I like smaller rings, he knows it."
jisung put his hand in the air.
"it's perfect. because he got it for me."

jeongin smiled.
"I'm so happy for you hyung, really. minho is an amazing guy for you, and it's obvious that he loves you so much."

jisung smiled back.
"thank you."

laying on the couch, his head on his fiancés lap, jisung was reading his book while minho did some additional work.
that was until he heard a knock on the door.

"I'll go get it."
jisung said, getting up and walking towards the door.

but he was not ready for the ambush from his best friend when he opened the door.

"han jisung!"
felix let himself in, grabbing jisung's hand.
"did you get engaged without my knowledge?!"

"well hello to you too felix."
jisung chuckled, closing the door with his other hand.
"but it's not like you can blame me. we got engaged like two days ago, we haven't seen each other yet so I couldn't tell you. speaking about it, how did you found out anyway?"

"we were grocery shopping with chan and we ran into jeongin. we talked and he let it slip that you got engaged. he had no idea I didn't know."
felix said, pulling jisung in for a hug.
"but I'm so happy for you. really, congratulations. I thought I would be the one engaged first you know?"

jisung snorted, smacking felix's back, before pulling away.
"you want a glass of water or something?"
he asked, walking further into the apartment, felix following him.

"yeah that would be nice."
felix responded, before turning to his side, seeing minho sitting on the couch, typing something into his laptop.
"hi minho."

minho turned his head slightly, meeting eyes with felix.
"hi."

"damn lee minho, I gotta say, the ring is beautiful."
felix said.

minho smiled.
"thank you. I had to pick out the prettiest ring for the prettiest boy."

"oh please."
jisung chuckled, giving a glass filled with water to felix, before he made his way towards his fiancé, throwing himself on the couch and giving him a quick peck on his shoulder.

"okay, I totally understand how jeongin feels when he's hanging out with us."
felix chuckled, walking towards the couple.

"we should find jeongin a boyfriend."
jisung said.

"oh my god I totally agree."
felix nodded, taking a sip from the glass he was holding.
"anyone in mind?"

"not really."
jisung shrugged.
"we will have to look for someone."

"how about you let him guys pick out his own boyfriend hm?"
minho said, wrapping his arm around jisung.

"I mean, of course, we would just...give him more options, you know?"
felix said.

"exactly. nothing wrong with that."
jisung agreed.

minho just snorted, shaking his head.
"whatever. wanna stay over for dinner lix? I will be making beef Wellington."

"damn, that sounds super super tempting. you know what? I will stay, so you wouldn't have any leftovers."
felix said.
"can chan come over too?"

"of course, call him in. we will have enough for all of us."
minho nodded.

"alright."
felix smiled, taking out his phone and calling his boyfriend over.

the four of them ended up having an amazing time together, mostly talking about jisung's and minho's engagement, and if they had any plans about the wedding in mind yet.

it was a comfortable evening, where all of them could forget about everything and just enjoy the atmosphere.
