Ratchet and the other autobots have been in the med bay for about thirty minutes already. June, Miko and Raf were all very worried, but Rafael remained busy in trying to lock onto Optimus's signal. And he was also hoping to lock onto the signal from Jack's phone. So far, he hasn't been able to do that, but the boy had only been working on it for a short time. Raf hoped that when Ratchet returns to the lobby, they would be able to find Optimus quicker.

June was sitting on a chair while staring at the ground bridge with a worried expression. She had no idea why Jack thought it was a good idea to follow Optimus. She knew Jack wouldn't have forgotten about what happened to her when Mech kidnapped June from the parking lot of the hospital. Which was why she didn't understand why Jack even went with Optimus. June didn't know if it was bravery, stupidity or both...but there was nothing that she could do about it right now.

However, as she was pondering on the choices Jack had made, she heard her phone ding and she grabbed it, not knowing who sent a message, and she gasped when she saw it was a message from Jack. In the message, Jack told his mother to not call him because he was inside one of Mech's vehicles and confirmed that Optimus had been knocked down successfully and Mech were currently transporting him to a different location. June was relieved that Jack was okay, but she was worried that Jack would be caught due to how close he was to Mech.

"Raf, Jack just sent me a text. Can you detect his phone signal?" Raf looked at June in surprise and June smiled at him. "Jack is okay, he just told me to not call him. He's hiding in one of Mech's vehicles while they transport Optimus to another location."

"I guess that confirms that Mech managed to take down Optimus...and normally that would be difficult, if not for Azura within him," Miko said softly as she was glad that Jack sent a message, but she was worried. "Maybe you should keep texting. That might help track the signal."

"It will. If you can, try and text with Jack as much as possible," Rafael said in agreement as he looked back at the laptop. "I can't see the phone signal from Jack's phone right now, but if you keep texting, I might be able to triangulate the signal to find and lock onto his phone signal. But I do expect that the place Mech are taking Optimus to will have a strong block on signals."

"Even phone signals? If Jack is sending a message, Mech do not know he is there." Rafael shrugged as he didn't know how to answer June. "Well...I'll respond to his text. Hopefully, Ratchet and the others will be out of the med bay soon. We could really use his help."

Raf nodded in agreement. "I know. Ratchet knows his technology better than I do. I can try and help in small ways, but this might be a bit much for me. But keep texting Jack. Hopefully, he doesn't get caught. I have no idea how they will react if they discover his presence ."

Miko just shrugged. "Maybe they will just tie him up? I don't know. But I guess that will depend on some things, like Silas will not be happy about an autobot ally spying on them and relaying information. He might even destroy Jack's phone, since he will know it gives off a signal."

"I personally do not want to think about what might happen to Jack if he is found by Silas." June looked at her phone and began writing a text to respond to him. "If this is how we can at least start trying to find Optimus, then I guess we shall do it."

While Raf hoped that the continuous texting between Jack and June would help him to locate the phone's signal, he was still unsure if they would even happen very quickly. But it was good that Jack had even been able to reach out, and somehow hide from Mech so he could relay what is happening. They certainly wouldn't want to hear what Silas might do to Optimus when they arrive at the location they were bringing the mech to. But it would be information that is important, especially since it is the health of both sparkling and carrier that will be at stake.
