Chapter 3 - Finding a New House

As Lux grew, Ethan and Jenna began to feel the need for more space. Their small apartment, once cozy, now felt cramped with baby gear scattered everywhere. Realizing it was time to find a new home, they turned to Amelia and Lily for help. The couple had recently gone through a home search themselves and were eager to lend their expertise.

One sunny Saturday morning, the four of them met at a local café to discuss their plans. Jenna sipped her coffee while Ethan sketched out a list of must-haves: a backyard for Lux to play in, a good school district, and enough room for guests. Amelia and Lily nodded in agreement, their enthusiasm palpable.

"I remember how overwhelming it felt," Amelia said, glancing at Lily. "But having a clear list makes it easier. Let's make a game plan!"

With a sense of purpose, they set out to explore neighborhoods. First up was a quaint area known for its family-friendly atmosphere. As they drove through tree-lined streets, Ethan felt a sense of excitement bubbling inside him. They stopped at a charming house with a "For Sale" sign out front.

"Let's check it out!" Lily exclaimed, and they piled out of the car, ready to explore.

Inside, they marveled at the open layout, the bright kitchen, and the spacious backyard that beckoned for summer barbecues. Lux cooed in her stroller as Ethan and Jenna exchanged hopeful glances.

"This could be the one!" Jenna whispered, imagining their life here. They envisioned playdates, family gatherings, and cozy nights watching movies.

After touring several more homes over the next few weeks, they found themselves drawn back to that first house. It felt like home—a place where they could create lasting memories. With Amelia and Lily's encouragement, they put in an offer, hearts racing with anticipation.

A few days later, the phone call came. Their offer had been accepted!

Overwhelmed with joy, they celebrated with a small dinner at their favorite restaurant. As they clinked glasses, Jenna said, "To new beginnings!"

As the moving day approached, Amelia and Lily offered their help, excited to be part of the journey. They packed boxes, labeled them, and made plans for decorating Lux's new room.

Finally, moving day arrived. Ethan and Jenna stood outside their new house, the sun shining brightly overhead. The sight of their name on the mailbox filled them with pride and excitement.

With the help of family and friends, they unloaded boxes and started to make the house their own. Lux giggled as she watched everyone scurry around, and her laughter filled the space, echoing the love that would soon envelop their new home.
