"I'm so fucking tired of you all and all of your bullshit! I'm done!" I yell to my mom. I'm really done with their bullshit. I wanna go away. I wanna leave. I wanna go home.

"Don't swear at me, girl!" My mom yells back.

"That's what you're worried about? Me swearing? That's enough, I'm done. I'm out of here!" I say it as I walk to my room. I open my closet and I grab two big suitcases. I put them in my bed and I start putting clothes and needs inside it.

My mom steps into the room. "What are you doing, Sheena?" She asks.

"Packing. Don't you see it?" Is she blind or what?

"Why are you packing?" She asks with a confused ton.

"Because I'm leaving." I simply reply.

"So that's it? You're leaving." My mom starts yelling. "You're leaving us? After everything we did for you?"

"What? Are you serious mom?"

"Yeah. I'm fucking serious! We moved to New York because of you! For you to go to a good college!" She's kidding right?

"Because of me? Don't you dare say that it's because of me. I was the one who didn't want to come. I was just one more of your excuses to come to New York. The real reason was dad's promotion!" I said without a break.

"That's not true sweeatheart." She said low.

"Don't call me sweetheart" I say trying to stay calm. "Mom, I'm leaving no matter what you say. I'm going back home. I hate it here. I hate this fucking house. I hate the college and I hate the course. I hate everything." Ok, now I freaked out.

My mom has no answer for me. But then she said: "So, what do you wanna do with your life? Hun? Live by air? With no money, you will die on LA's streets."

"I wanna be a fucking drummer in a fucking rock band! And I can get a job and have a decent life! You will see! One day, I'm gonna be the drummer of a famous rock band. And I hope to never see your face again." My mom doesn't say anything, she just turns around and leaves the room closing the door with anger.

I'm almost done with packing. Now I just have to pack my books, cassettes and records. Righ when I finished, someone knocks on the door.

"Can I come in?" A familiar voice asks.

"Fuck off" I yell.

"It's me Sheena" My brother says as he enters. "Sheena, what are you doing?" He asks shocked.

"I'm leaving. I'm done." I say as I put the suitcases on the floor.

"And where are you going?" He asks worried.

"Home. I'm going back home. Thank to me that they didn't sell the house." He has a worried expression on his face. I get closer to him. "Dave, look, I love you and you know it. But I have to leave. I can't take this anymore. I'll be safe at our old house. I'll be safe in LA."

"How can you be safe alone in LA? How?" Ok, now he's terrified. My old brother being a protective old brother. As always.

"Dave, believe me, I'm better alone in that big city than here. And I won't be alone. Jade is gonna be there with me." I say it to try to get him calm.

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" He asks.

"I've never been so sure." I smile. He smiles back and I give him a tight hug.

"I love you, stupid girl."

"And I love you, dickhead" I say and take a step back. "It's not a goodbye. It's a see you later in our old house"

"Yeah, I know." We smile to each other. "I'll leave you alone" he says while leaving the room.

Ok, so it's just missing two important things: money and my home keys. I open up a little box that I hide behind some books on the bookshelf. Inside the box there's money that I've been saving for emergencies since I was ten. And this is an emergency. I take off the money. I have 1000 dollars. Oh my god, I never though there was that much. In the bottom of the box is my home key. I take it off and I put the money and the keys in my knapsack. I put my knapsack on one's back, grab my two big suitcases and get out the house without telling a word to my mom.

"May I have a ticket to LA? It's urgent, please." I ask to the women behind the counter.

"Ok miss, just wait a second." This second feels like hours. "You're lucky, the airplane which is gonna leave in an hour, still have got a seat." She smiles. I smile back. That's my chance.

"Yeah, yeah, I'll take it. So, how much?"

"It's 400 dollars."

"Perfect." I take out my wallet and put 400 dollars in the counter. "Where do I do the check-in?"

"You can do it here, miss"

After I do the check-in and send my suitcases to the hold, I sit in a bench embraced to my knapsack and wait for the flight call. I'm really nervous. I never had done something like this before. But it's gonna be fine. I just want to get home.

Finally I'm out of the Los Angeles' airport. It took forever to get out. Now I just need a taxi. After 10 minutes trying to catch a taxi I finally do it! I give the indications to the man and we finally arrive. Oh my god, home, I've missed you so much!! I pay and the men helps me to take my suitcases out of the trunk.

I open the front door and all I see is dark. I get in and the house has an intense mouldy smell. I shut the door and I start opening every single window of the house. I look at the clock on the wall and it indicates 7:00 pm. Holy shit. That clock still works? You never disappoint me, clock. I have to call Jade to say that I'm home and have nothing to eat. But first I need to play the drums. I have to unload my emotions, my anger and frustration. And the right way to do it is by playing the drums.

After half an hour playing the drums I broke my drumstick. I had to stop anyway. When I'm climbing down the stairs to go call Jade someone knocks the door. What the fuck?

I open the door I see a guy with a poodle blond hair, blue eyes and a cute smile.

"Yeah?" I say suspicious.

"Oh, hi! I just came here because I heard a beautiful noise of drums from this house and I came to see who was playing drums. Since I've been living here I never saw this house open so I suppose you're my new neighbor!" he says while sounding really happy.

"Me? New here? I've lived here since I remember being a human being. I just left for three months. So the one who's new is you little boy." Ok, this must sound rude from me, but I'm having the longest worst and good day of my life. Give me a discount.

"So I'm your new neighbor then! Welcome back!" Oh my god, how can this guy sound so happy?

"And you are...."

"I'm Steven! I live in the house right next to yours!" Oh boy, that smile is so cute.

"Sheena" I say.

"So, Sheena, do you wanna have dinner at my house? Me and the guys just ordered pizza. We can eat some pizza, drink some beer, have a chat... What do you think?" What do I say? Do I accept? I never saw this guy before. Should I trust this guy? He said 'me and the guys' so he's not alone. And what if they try to rape me? Or try to do anything worst? Just like murder me? I really don't know. Shit. But in other hand, he seems like a really nice guy, so why not?

"I'd love to. It seems to be a good plan." I say with a smile. He smiles back.

"Shall we go then?" He asks.

"Sure, but first let me just close all the windows and then we can go."
