It felt like it was a dream this little human that was staring up at him was his flesh and blood , his little girl . shit if someone told him this was going to happen he would of laughed , told them to give their head a shake and to fuck off . His little girl, so small , so beautiful it was hard to believe something as good as this little thing was his . the happy feeling he felt looking down into the little face and then to the woman who carried her it was like a dream he never wanted to wake from. He knew what kind of man he was and he swore them moment he held Ava in his arms he was never going to be the father he had growing up , he was going to protect her from everything and anything even if it killed him . the little eyes staring up at him as the woman he loved was snoring away thankfully it took him forever to get her to just get some rest . fucker scared shit out of him . almost losing her scared the absolute shit out of him , knowing he would of been doing it alone but in true y/n fashion she made sure not even death could stop her.

" her first words definitely going to be a swear" he turned to see y/n smiling at him .

" none of it not a word on an unrelated note though id tell you my vision is 20/20 or more giving the powers and shit" she smirked as he came closer.

" hmm debatable love" he smiled learning down place soft kiss on her lips .

" she know i'm at her mother, little shit cockblocking me already " he chuckled heading over to the bassinet .

" think it time for her feed actually she letting her food machine know" she chuckled taking the sweet little crying baby out of his arms. " oh diaper and things too" she added getting her top down ready to feed ava .

" i'll pretend i didn't hear that" doc walked in the door definitely wishing she waited a little more outside before coming in. " i'll check you over once your done, she's not a problem latching " she observed .

" doc if you wanna stare at my wife tit you just have to ask" butcher called .

" your wife huh ? since when" y/n asked hiding how good it felt.

" well not yet anyways" he winked heading into the closet .

" i should of recorded that" she playfully huffed.

" we'll get him next time , how you feeling now after well everything" doc asked .

" sore , tired and yet the happiest i've ever felt in my life" she smiled brightly eyes falling to the little bundle in her arms. Wondering how her mother didn't feel this that almost instant happiness , she could lose everything but once ava was ok and healthy she didn't care one bit of the loss . "how could anyone not feel something for the life they give" she asked softly hands softly rubbing the newborns cheek.

"In the words of new daddy , people are cunts" doc spoke matter of factly making y/n head shoot up.

" that i should of recorded my my they have the beautiful doc corrupted" she teased.

" well been here long enough for it to happen" the woman snorted .

" sticking around even though ava is born , we will need a doctor handy right?" y/n asked not thinking of the fact now she wasn't pregnant.

" i mean i'm not moving too fast plus if a certain date goes well tonight i might actually be around more and more plus works better knowing i come here" she smirked.

" shit my dad asked you out , go snr" she giggled.

" yeah tried to say it was a thank you for saving you but mans not subtle one thing i like with him and it's cute he tries" doc laughed.

" well you already have my blessing although my grandfather will be devastated" she laughed awkwardly never thinking that phrase would come out of her mouth.

" nah i kew i lost the moment he was all confused" ben strolled in not even blinking at fact she was breastfeeding , shit he was a changed man because old him would of said something the moment he spotted it and well the old him wouldn't have helped in the birth either.

" hows my great grandkid" he asked sitting beside the doc.

" hungry" , " stole my girl" she and butcher said at same time.

" yeah well i think it cool" he shrugged reaching out to take the little hand with his finger.

" you broke your pop pop " she cooed down to a now fed ava lifting her up not caring for the burping towel as she rubbed and patted the little humans back , greedily taking in the new born scent that was filling her nostrils .

" he's been saying it to dexter too" doc snorted .

" hey dog great grandkids count too" he rolled his eyes. 

" he's definitely broken maybe run few test on him doc the old age is catching up making him senile" butcher smirked. 

" yeah yeah fuck off i've more spring in my little finger than you" soldier boy laughed. 

" they're getting on more look at you making miracles happen" she cooed to ava laying her down stripping the little human . 

"  nah think that was you that done that" doc smiled looking down at two not imagining when she first took the call that this was going to be the outcome of it all and she would be forever grateful that she did . the new  shift and dynamics in her life was definitely the best change she'd ever faced .
