The evening was falling gently over London, and Abhiman's work had consumed the entire day, making him forget that it was his birthday. As he returned to his hotel room, he noticed the unusual quiet and darkness. His thoughts were preoccupied with work, so he didn't initially realize the significance of the day.
"Jeevika, jaan, where are you?" he called out, his voice echoing in the dimly lit room. He flicked the light switch, and the room was illuminated to reveal a beautifully decorated space.
There stood Jeevika, radiant in a stunning red saree, holding a cake. The soft glow from the candles on the cake reflected in her eyes, adding to her elegance. A smile spread across her face as she greeted him with a joyful, "Happy Birthday!"
The surprise was made even more special by the video call from his family, who greeted him with a chorus of birthday wishes. His parents offered their blessings, while his siblings playfully teased him about getting older. The call was filled with laughter and shared memories, making Abhiman's heart swell with appreciation for Jeevika's thoughtful gesture.
As the call ended and the room returned to a cozy quiet, Abhiman looked at Jeevika with gratitude. "So, where's my gift, wify?" he asked, his tone playful.
Jeevika raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms. "What gift? I planned all of this as your gift. And for the record, you also forgot it was your birthday."
"Jeevikaaaaaa," Abhiman groaned, a mix of exasperation and amusement in his voice.
"Abhimannnnn," she mimicked, her playful tone lightening the mood.
Just then, Abhiman's phone buzzed with a call from his brother, Veer. He answered it, trying to hide his impatience. "Bhai?"
"Gift kaisa laga?" Veer asked, clearly excited.
"What gift?" Abhiman replied, his confusion apparent.
"Abhi tak nahi aaya? It's supposed to be delivered," Veer said with a hint of disappointment.
Abhiman furrowed his brow. "Let me check with Jeevika."
He turned to Jeevika, who was in the bathroom. "Jeevika, koi parcel gaya hai kya?"
Her voice came from the bathroom, muffled but clear. "It's on the bedside table."
Abhiman moved to the bedside table and found a neatly wrapped parcel. He started opening it, his curiosity piqued. Veer's voice came through the phone again, "Bhai, open it and call me after. I know you'll like the gift."
Abhiman was halfway through unwrapping the gift when the bathroom door creaked open. Jeevika stepped out, clad in a sexy nightdress that left little to the imagination. The sight was so alluring that it nearly took Abhiman's breath away.
His eyes widened, and he glanced between the gift in his hands and his stunning wife. "Jeevika...?"
She walked towards him with a mischievous smile, her confidence evident. "Looks like you've got two gifts tonight."
Abhiman's eyes sparkled with both surprise and desire. He set the partially unwrapped gift aside and took Jeevika's hand, pulling her close. "You've outdone yourself, Jeevika. I don't think I've ever had a birthday quite like this."
As they stood there, wrapped in each other's presence, the world outside seemed to fade away. The night was theirs, filled with the promise of love and the joy of shared moments. The gift from Veer was momentarily forgotten as Abhiman and Jeevika embraced the intimate celebration of their love.
The rest of the evening was a blur of tenderness and connection, a perfect ending to Abhiman's birthday. The love they shared, expressed in the warmth of their embrace and the soft whispers in the quiet room, was the greatest gift of all.
