The room was quite, the light from the lamp making soft shadows on the walls. He kissed her neck, and for a moment, she felt swept away by how close they were. But when he gently bit her lip, she froze.

"Ji suniye..."she whispered,  her voice shaky. He stopped and looked at her, confused.

She took a deep breath. "I'm not ready for this," she said , her heart racing. She felt nervous and scared, wondering what he would think or do to her. Would he be upset? Would he push her to keep going?

He face softened as soon as she spoke. He didn't say anything right away. Instead, he leaned in and kissed her gently on the lips. This kiss was different  not like the one before. It wasn't fast or full of desire.  It was softm as if to comfort her.

To her surprise,  a tear slipped from her eye. She didn't expect to cry, but the mix of feelings was overwhelming. She as afraid,  but now she was also relieved.

He noticed the tear immediately.  His hand, which had been resting on her waist, moved to her cheek. Gently, he wiped away the tear with his thumb. "Hey.... I'm sorry", he said quietly.  "I didn't mean to make you feel like this".

She spoke softly,"I thought.....I thought you might force me." It felt strange to say out loud, but the fear had been real. She wasn't sure what he would do before she stopped him.

His face become serious,  but not in an angry way." I would never do that", he said . "If you're not ready , that's okay . We can wait . I want you to feel safe with me".

She nodded, feeling calmer. The tension in room faded, and everything felt safer.

He pulled her into a hug, and she rested her head on his chest. She couldhear his heartbeat, steady and claming. She felt protected,  like she was exactly where she needed to be.

They stayed like that for a while, not saying anything, just holding each other. She knew they didn't need to rush anything.  This was enough.

As she rested against him, she knew that when she was ready, he would still be there, waiting with kindness and patience.
