Chapter 27

Ai's Pov 

Me and Shoichi were currently with Akashi inside his car. It was bringing back memories to me. I looked outside the window not saying a word to Akashi. Truthfully, I was terrified for my life. I didn't want to face Akashi's father. He had told me I would never see Akashi again and I broke the promise I made with him. He would surely hate me even more.

I soon felt someone hold my hand, "Just relax. Everything will be fine." Akashi gave me a reassuring smile. I gave him a slight smile. I was still nervous.

"Where are we going?" Shoichi suddenly asked out of the blue. "You're going to meet your grandpa. Make sure to be nice, Shoichi." Akashi held Shoichi's hand. Shoichi gave an eye closed smile, "Hai!"

"Young master, we have arrived." 

The chauffeur opened the door for us. Akashi got out of the car first followed by me and Shoichi. I held on to Shoichi's hand real tight. I was scared for my life. 

Before opening the door to Akashi's mansion, Akashi held my hand and smiled at me one more time before entering. Maids and butlers greeted Akashi and lead a way to his father's room. 

We were now at Akashi's father's bedroom door. My heart was pounding out my chest. I tried to keep my confidence and walked into the room with Akashi. 

"Father, I am home." 

Akashi's father turned his face and his eyes met with mine. His eyes grew wide, "You.. Why are you here?!" 

"Father, I am sorry. You cannot keep us apart." Akashi said defending me. 

"How dare you bring that girl back here! Seijuro, I expected much more from you! You let a girl get in the way of your future?!" 

"She is not in the way of my future, because she is part of my future!" Akashi yelled. 

Akashi's father cleared his throat, "Okay, she can stay here. She will be a maid for the Akashi household, but you cannot have any relations with her. As for the young boy, he must be taught manners and such. Seijuro, the wedding with Suki must still go on. We have everything set already!" 

"Father-"

"Just go! Don't argue with me Seijuro!" He turned to me, "You. There is a maid waiting outside for you. She will take the boy to his room." He held his chest. It looked like he was in pain.

Akashi grabbed my hand and stormed out the door, slamming the door shut. "God dammit!" Akashi slammed his fist on a wall adjacent to us. It startled everyone in the hallway. 

"Sei! Calm down.." I moved his shoulder, so now he was facing me, "I'll be fine. We will be fine."

Akashi sighed out of frustration, "I'm really sorry.." His face was buried in the crook of my neck. I smiled painfully and wrapped my arms around him, "Everything will be fine. Don't worry.." 

Akashi took his head off of me and stared into my eyes, "I'll be back for you. For now, just listen to the maids." I nodded and smiled at him. 

He then bent down to Shoichi and held his small hands, "Be nice for mama and papa, okay?" Shoichi nodded and smiled. 

Soon, a maid approached us. "Akashi-san, Suki is looking for you." Akashi looked back at me one last time and left. 

"Come with me, I will bring you to your room." I nodded and followed her. We walked down several hallways and we finally arrived at a room. The maid opened the door for me and I saw three beds in there. 

"You will be living with two other people, so make yourself comfortable. Your uniform is laying on your bed. Your dorm mates will be arriving to greet you very shortly. I must take the boy to his room now." I gestured for Shoichi  to go with the maid. He seemed heartbroken to leave me and he didn't know why. It broke my heart as well. 

The maid shut the door as they left the room. I sighed and walked over to my plain white bed. There was a maid uniform on top. I plopped onto the bed. I wanted to scream through the pillow. I didn't like this at all.

I soon felt my phone vibrate. I opened it and saw many text messages from Amaya.

Amaya: Are you guys fine?

Amaya: Ai, answer me! You guys are taking the longest time ever!

Amaya: Answer me please.. I'm getting really worried.

Amaya: Daisuke is out looking for you guys. I hope you guys are fine.

Ai: I met Akashi again.

Amaya: What? Really? What happened?

Ai: I'm at his mansion. I met his father. I'm in a quite sad situation right now. I'm basically a maid for the Akashi household at the moment. The wedding with Suki will still go on..

Amaya: WHAT?! How could this be?! How's Shoichi?? 

Ai: He's fine. He will be living here also. 

Soon, the door opened and there were two girls standing there. One had brown hair and brown eyes, while the other had black hair and brown eyes and was shorter than the first girl.

Ai: Hey I gotta go. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. 

I put away my phone and the two girls shut the door. "You must be Ai, my name is Haruka Arisu. You can call me Arisu." The brown haired girl smiled. I nodded and smiled back. 

"My name is Fumiko Gina! It's really nice to meet you! Call me Gina!" The black haired girl smiled cheerfully. They both sat on the bed adjacent from mine. "We've heard many rumors about you going around the mansion.." Gina said. 

"Rumors? Really?" I asked. They both nodded, "There's rumors about you and Akashi-san.." 

"Oh.."

"So there is?!" Gina beamed. "Tell me please.."

I looked down at the ground remembering all the memories I had been Akashi. "Me and him had a relationship back in high school. Things happened and yeah we were in love. Then one day, I found out I was pregnant. I told Akashi and we were both happy. I don't know how, but Akashi's father found out and told me to leave Akashi. If I didn't leave, I would become a burden to Akashi, so I had left. I had left him for two years. I lived in Tokyo with a friend and had the baby. He's two now. I was suppose to be here for a vacation with my friend who I was living with, but Akashi found me today. He brought me back here to meet his father again. Now, I'm just a maid working for the Akashi household.." I sighed and held my tears back.

"Oh my.. I'm so sorry.." Gina hugged me. 

"I wouldn't really know what to do if I was in your situation if you ask me.." Arisu sighed. 

"It's fine really.." I sighed. 

"How old are you by the way?" Arisu asked me. "I just turned nineteen." Arisu and Gina gasped, "Wow, so young.." 

"I'm twenty-one." Arisu smiled. "I'm twenty!" Gina beamed again. 

"Don't worry, we won't tell anyone about this." Arisu assured. I smiled at her, "Thanks." 

"Well, you should get dressed into the uniform. The head maid comes in our rooms everyday checking to see how we are doing and to mostly scold us." Gina rolled her eyes, "She nags all the time." 

We all laughed and I grabbed the uniform and used the bathroom to change. I locked the door and started to change into the black and white maid uniform. To be honest, it was quite fancy. 

I wonder how the future will unfold..
