Red Love (Kuroko no Basuke: Akashi Seijuro Fanfiction)

Chapter 1

Ai's Pov 

"It was the last picture that I took of her..Before she..Left.." Haru said snapping me out of my thoughts. "Why do I look like her..?" I asked pointing the question to no one. Ayami and Haru shrugged. I moved my eyes toward the photo album that Haru was holding in her hands. 

"Can I see that?" I asked gesturing for her to give it to me. She nodded and handed me it. I quickly opened it up to see if there were any more pictures of that girl. 

There were a ton of them.

Her and Akashi. 

Anger started to rush through me. Why am I acting like this?! I shook my head, trying to forget about it. But it couldn't go away. Am I jealous? I asked myself. 

"Ai-chan, are you okay?" Ayami asked and touched my shoulder which made me come back into reality. I shook my head and smiled. "I'm fine.." I assured. It seemed that they bought it. Then Haru suddenly gave me a serious stare. 

"Ai, what did Akashi say to you?" She suddenly asked. My eyes widened at the sudden question. Then I finally spoke. "He called me Suki. I kept telling him that I wasn't, but he kept calling me his Suki." Her eyes widened. 

There was a sudden pause between us, until one of us spoke. "Ai, can you please do me a favor." Haru asked breaking the silence between us. I nodded giving her a confused look. "What's the favor?" I asked. She gave me a serious stare. 

"Can you please pretend to be Suki?" 

My eyes widened. There was a long period of silence as I was trying to process what she said in my head. 

"You want me..to pretend to be Suki?" I finally spoke. 

She nodded. She gave me a begging look. "Why?" I asked. She took a long breath before answering. "Just think of it doing it for Akashi and Suki. Just please do the favor. I'm begging you." She begged. I was about to decline the favor. Then suddenly Haru was on her knees and began to bow. "Please Ai-chan. We need you." She said while bowing in front of me. 

My eyes widened. I stood up from Haru's bed that I was sitting on. "Haru stop! Okay! Fine! I'll do it.." I said trying to get Haru to stop bowing. Will I regret agreeing with this favor of Haru's? I thought. 

Haru finally got up and hugged me. I was surprised at first, but then hugged back. Then she pulled away. She gave me a smile. I slightly smiled back. "Thank you, Ai." 

We were at the front gate of Haru's house. We were saying our goodbyes. Luckily, I live close to Haru so I could just walk back to my house. As for Ayami, she had to take the bus home which sucked, because she couldn't walk home with me. I decided to walk Ayami to the bus stop. 

"Bye, Ayami!" I waved and smiled as she got on the bus. She smiled and waved back. Then she hopped onto the bus and sat on her seat. I watched as the bus left. 

I sighed. 

What have I gotten myself into?! I started to walk home. The sun was setting. I looked up in awe. It was beautiful. 

I suddenly felt a cold presence behind me. I turned around. My eyes widened.

It was him.

"Akashi-kun?!" I said jumping back in surprise. He slowly walked beside me and stopped where I stopped. He looked up to the sunset. "Beautiful isn't it?" I nodded looking up as well. I don't know, but I feel like he actually loves me, but he doesn't... 

"Shall, I walk you home?" He asked. I gave him a confused look, but just went with it. "I want to go to a park first." I smiled. I want to be with him more. He smiled back and nodded. We started to walk to the park that was nearest to us. I ran up to the swings and started to swing. Akashi just stood there and watched me swing. My hair was flowing in the wind as I was swinging. 

After awhile, I stopped moving my legs so my swing would stop. I gestured for Akashi to sit on the swing that was beside me. He walked up to the swing and sat on it. He stared at me. His beautiful eyes were glistening in the sunset. He was radiant. 

I feel like it's just you and me, but it's you and her...

It was silent between us. We were taking in the beautiful sunset that was shining on us. 

I pulled out my phone and checked the time. It was 6:59pm. I closed my phone and looked up at Akashi who was already staring at me. "Akashi-kun, I need to go home." I said. He nodded and got off the swing. He stood in front of me and smiled. He pulled out his hand, gesturing me to take it. I put my hand in his and he pulled me up from the swing. 

We started to walk to my house. We were soon into my neighborhood. I looked over to Akashi who had a confused look on his face. "What's wrong, Akashi-kun?" I asked out of curiousity. "It seems that you moved." He said. My eyes widened. Oh yeah.. Suki lived in a different house.. I realized. 

"Ah, yes I did." I lied. He nodded. We soon arrived at my house. He started to observe my 'new' house. "Your new house is quite smaller than your old house." He stated. I nodded going with it. "The old house was just too big." I lied once again. He nodded. Then he turned back to me. 

He gave me a slight smile before taking me in his arms. I took in his scent. He smelled good. I wrapped my arms around him, hugging him back. I then let go of our hug. I want us to keep hugging, but there's a time when it needs to stop. 

He suddenly kissed the top of my forehead. It made me blush. It feels like it was for me, but it's for her. 

It made my heart race. 

"Goodnight, Suki."

It was not my name. Ai. But it was Suki. It was her name. 

I smiled back. 

"Yes, I am Suki."

I am sorry Suki. 

But I think I am in love.

With Akashi Seijuro.
