Chapter 4

Ai's Pov

I wiped my tears away since I heard the bell ring, meaning that it was time to go to class.

I'm fine...

I waited for a minute so I could calm down from all this crying. I grabbed my bento box. My eyes were puffy. I opened the door and walked down the stairs to the classroom. I jumped off the last step of the stairs. I landed perfectly.

I arrived at my classroom. I took a deep breathe before sliding the door open. Most of my classmates were already there. There was probably three or four people that still hadn't come back. I looked over to Akashi and he had a worried expression on his face. I sat down at my seat. I wish that worried expression was for me..

Soon, the remaining people came back and we started class.

It was English class and it was so boring. I was about to pass out then and there. My life is shit.

I rested my head on my arms. Little did I know, I would be falling sleep immediately.

"Akashi?" I looked around to find him.

"Seijuro, I love you." My eyes widened as I saw a girl that looked exactly like me with Akashi. They were staring into each other's eyes.

Suki...

"I love you, my empress."

They slowly leaned into each other while closing there eyes. Tears were forming in the rims of my eyes.

"No... NOO!!"

"NOOOOO!!!" I woke up from my dream screaming.

All of my classmates and my teacher were staring at me. My face soon flushed with redness as I realized that I had screamed out loud. "Sorry!" I bowed while apologizing.

"Miss Satsuki. You will be staying after school and will be cleaning my classroom since you seem to think it is okay to fall asleep in my class." I blushed in embarrassment and bowed. "Yes, sensei.."

Soon the bell rang and it meant that it was time to go home, but for me I had to stay to clean the stupid classroom.

Akashi soon approached me. "Suki, what were you dreaming?" He asked. I soon froze in place. "I-I was d-dreaming that I...." I started to think. "That I lost in a basketball game!" I blurted. Akashi gave me a weird look. "I thought you don't like to play basketball." My eyes widened. Crap! I'm screwed!! "Eh? I just got into basketball!" I sweat dropped. Akashi nodded. I mentally sighed in relief.

"Should I wait for you?" He asked. "No! No! I'm fine.." I assured. He nodded. Then he moved closer to me and kissed me on my forehead. I blushed. "Goodbye." I nodded because I couldn't spit out any words. He smiled and walked off.

I slapped both of my cheeks. Ai! Get a hold of yourself! I told myself. I sighed and got a broom and started to sweep the floor. I huffed and blew a strand of my face.

I finally finished sweeping and put the broom away. "I can finally leave now!" I opened my phone and checked the time. It was 5:34pm. I grabbed my stuff and walked out of the school. To my surprise, I saw Ayami waiting for me at the school gate. I smiled and ran over to her.

"You didn't have to wait for me." She smiled. "We need to talk about things." I gave her a confused look. "Okay?" I laughed. She started to walk and I followed her.

"So about Akashi.." I gestured for her to continue. "Are you still gonna go with the plan?" She asked. I sighed. "I guess I have to now. He already thinks I am Suki.." She gave me a painful expression. "Haru is gonna meet up with us at the park near Maji Burger." I tilted my head looking confused. "Why?" I asked. "She wants us to meet some people."

I stopped walking and gave Ayami a good hard stare.

"Some people? As in more than one person?" I said. She nodded. "Gosh Ayami, you know I'm not good with meeting new people! It's..Awkward.." I sighed. She rolled her eyes at me. "Stop being so anti-social." I stuck out my tongue at her and walked passed her.

We soon arrived at the park near Maji Burger. I immediately saw Haru and five other guys that were with her. My eyes widened as I saw the guy that I met the other day. Kuroko..

Ayami caught up to me and we started to walk over to them. The guys' eyes widened as they saw me. "Is that you, Suki?" A guy with navy blue hair asked. "My name is Satsuki Ai, not Suki." I corrected him. "Guys, I told you she wasn't Suki!" Haru yelled at the guys. I sighed. 

"Haru, why did you want me to meet them?" I asked. Haru took a deep breathe before answering. "They also went to the same middle school as Akashi and Suki." She turned to the five guys. "Ai is pretending to be Suki since Akashi thinks she is Suki." She explained. The guys turned to me. "Are you really okay with this?" Kuroko asked me. I shrugged. "I guess I have to go with the plan now since Akashi thinks I'm Suki now." I looked down at my feet. 

They gave me painful expressions. "You don't love him do you?" Haru asked with wide eyes. I kept on staring at my feet. "I think I already did..." I said. Haru gasped. "Oh my, I'm so sorry.. You don't have to... If it's hard for you..." I sighed. "I can't back down now.." Everyone looked at me with pity. "Please don't pity me.." I looked up to all of them. 

"I'll be fine.." I assured. "I made it this far, I don't want to back down. Besides, I'm doing this for Akashi's and Suki's sake aren't I? Not mine.." I tried to act strong, but in the inside I was dying slowly. Ayami walked up to me and gave me a warmful hug. "Be strong, Ai-chan.." I slight smile formed on my lips. "Thanks, Ayami." I hugged back. 

Soon everyone went up to me and gave me a hug. Oh how I loved group hugs. I really needed one right now. 

I'll be strong for everyone.

I'll be strong for myself. 

Be strong, Ai.
