Alexander's eyes locked onto Rory's, his expression urgent. "I have to go," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Rachel's message... it's about Eclipse."
Rory's distrust flared, but Maya's nod reassured her. "Go," Maya said. "We'll keep an eye on Jai."
On the rooftop, Alexander found Rachel, her eyes blazing with intensity.
"Eclipse is more than just a protocol," Rachel said, her voice laced with urgency. "It's a biometric control system. Jai plans to use it to manipulate world leaders."
Alexander's face paled. "That's impossible."
Rachel's smile twisted. "You know it's not. You helped design it."
Alexander's eyes widened in horror. "I thought it was for national security."
Rachel's laughter sent chills down Alexander's spine. "You were always a pawn, Alexander."
As Alexander reeled, Rory and Maya monitored Jai's movements.
