Third Person's POV

“But if we want to succeed, we need to be prepared for anything. We have to be better.... stronger. From now on, training will be a priority. We all have our strengths, but we need to master everything: combat, weaponry, hacking, technology, you name it.”

Her gaze moved to Aiesha, na kanina pa sa tabi niya at nakikinig. Maxine’s eyes softened slightly, though her tone remained firm. “Especially you, Aiesha. I’ll train you personally.”

Aiesha met Maxine’s gaze with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. She knew this wasn’t going to be easy, but if it meant standing by Maxine’s side and becoming someone who could hold her own, she was ready for it.

The others exchanged glances. This wasn’t just a fight for survival anymore...it was about ensuring that each of them could protect one another when the time came. And with the looming threat of The Siniestros, they knew that time was running short.

In the training room, Maxine and Aiesha stood face-to-face. The space had been revamped with all the necessary equipment, punching bags, sparring mats, and an assortment of weapons lined the walls.

But for now, it was just the two of them, standing close, Maxine crossed her arms and smirked at Aiesha. “You ready for this?”

“I’ve never been more ready.” determinadong sagot ni aiesha rito.

Maxine moved toward her, closing the distance as she gently adjusted Aiesha’s stance.

“It’s all about balance. Stay grounded, but don’t be rigid. You need to move with the fight, not against it.”

Their faces were inches apart, and for a moment, the world around them seemed to blur.

Maxine’s breath was hot against Aiesha’s skin, and Aiesha’s heart pounded in her chest.

Training with Maxine was intense, but the attraction between them made every moment more electric.

As they sparred, Maxine's movements were swift and precise, guiding Aiesha through the techniques.

Every now and then, Maxine would grab Aiesha’s wrist or waist to correct her, and each touch sent shivers down Aiesha’s spine.

The training session felt more like a dance, with each movement bringing them closer.

For a moment, they stood frozen, Aiesha pressed against Maxine’s chest. Their eyes met, and Maxine leaned in, her lips hovering just inches from Aiesha’s.

“I won’t let anyone hurt you,” Maxine whispered, her voice low and full of emotion.

Aiesha, breathless, could only nod. Maxine’s protective nature was one of the things that drew her in, and in this moment, she felt the depth of Maxine’s feelings.

But before their lips could meet, Maxine pulled back slightly, her control slipping. “We should… keep going,” she murmured, though her eyes betrayed how much she wanted to close the gap between them.

Aiesha smiled softly. “Let’s train a bit more,” she teased, though her heart raced at how close they had come.

Meanwhile, in the headquarters garden. Cole and Yves were going through their own training.

After a series of quick punches and blocks, Cole smiled at Yves. “You’ve been holding back.”

Yves shrugged with a smirk. “Ayoko lang na mapahiya ka.”

Cole laughed, shaking her head. “You’re lucky I like you.”

Yves stopped for a moment, her playful expression faltering as she looked at Cole with a softer gaze. “Yeah? How much?”

Yves looked up at Cole, who was now standing inches away, her heart racing at how close they were.

“More than you know,” bulong cole malapit sa tenga niya at kinagat pa siya nito sa tenga

Yves swallowed hard,  ang bilis ng tibok ng puso niya “Prove it,” she whispered, a small challenge in her voice.

The kiss was gentle at first, tentative, but soon deepened as they both gave in to the feelings they had been suppressing for so long.

When they finally pulled apart, Yves chuckled, her cheeks flushed. “I guess you’ve proved your point.”

On the other side of the head quarters, Skye and Solace were locked in their usual bickering.

“Yeah,” Solace breathed, her gaze flicking to Skye’s lips.

Before either of them could stop themselves, Skye leaned in, capturing Solace’s lips in a kiss

In the arcade, Gian and Shee were having their own quiet moment. Unlike the others, they didn’t need to train as intensely, already comfortable with their skills.

Instead, they had spent the afternoon enjoying the arcade games, laughing and teasing each other.

As they played together, Gian would occasionally steal a kiss, and Shee would blush, smiling at her with adoration.

“We should do this more often,” bulong ni gian kay shee at yumakap dito mula sa likod.

“Focus, Gian,” Shee teased, though she leaned back into her embrace.

As the training sessions continued throughout the day, each pair grew stronger, not just in skill, but in the connections they were building with one another.
