Norita

"Are we really... Stuck in the rain?" Thomas says obliviously as we stand under somewhere so we don't become soaked.
"Take a wild guess." I say, shivering slightly. We were out to visit around with our group but was now stuck in the rain.
"Here" I feel Matthew warp his jacket around me, but I quickly try to reject it.
"No, it's okay. I'm fi- ACHOO!-" My sneeze reminds me how I was infact not fine.
"Please. If you get sick we will be hopeless." I guess he was referring to me being his translator. I sigh, hesitantly accepting his jacket.
"If you get sick, Dont blame me, I won't take care of you." I laugh and he smiles.
"Thomas." They exchange a look and matthew points at the shivering Dale
Thomas looks clueless, I truly will never understand how dale fell in love with such an idiot.
"Ahh" he finally says, understanding what matthew was saying.
Or that's what I thought...
Thomas suddenly pulls dale closer against him and I think it's an attempt to get her to be warm.
Dale is startled and stares up at tom dumfounded.
"GIVE HER YOUR JACKET, YOU IDIOT!"
Matthew loses it and I can't help but laugh.
Dale is still lost and Thomas blinks slowly.
"Ah." He takes off his jacket, draping it over Dale's shoulder.
"Oh there's no nee-" she tries to deny it but my glare is enough to shut up her mouth.
"When do you guys think the rain is going to stop?" Dale asks, trying to change the topic as I sigh.
"Soon, I hope."
______________

Im walking down the dormitory hallway and I find Alex, Matthew's bestfriend.
"Alex!" I wave Matthew's jacket in my hand.
"Have you seen matthew? I need to give him back his jacket." Alex gives me a playful smirk when he sees the jakcet in my hand.
"Don't even." I warn him and laugh, causing him to shrug.
"Matthew is sick in bed so he won't be participating in any of the group activities today." I frown hard which makes Alex give me sort of a weird look.
"Are you serious." I sigh, it was the last day of the trip and he was sick?
I kind of felt guilty now realizing it was because he gave me his jacket.
Shaking off my thoughts, I walked towards the boy's dormitory. Once I enter though, I realize there was no one besides matthew. I guess everyone already left for group activities.
"Matthew?" I softly say, trying not to disturb him. He rolls around in bed, groaning slighltly.
"I came to return your jacket." I walk closer to his bed and see how sick he looked. I stopped for a second.
Why did he look prettier when he was sick? No, snap out of it norita!
"Oh, thanks." He mutters trying to get up but I dont let him.
"No, rest. I'll leave it near your bed." As I'm about to walk away, I feel him pull me by the arm, even though he was sick his strength was unmatched. He effortlessly pulled me on the bed beside him.
"Stay." He pleads, red creeps up on my cheek and I abruptly get off of the bed, almost tripping over in the process.
Before I can say anything, my phone rings. It was dale.
"Where are you?" She asks, she sounded panicked and i was assuming it was because she was alone with thomas.
"I'm in the boy's dormitory, could you and tom come over please? Matthew is seriously sick." I sigh, she says something along the lines of coming and hangs up. I look back down at him, his face seemed red from the fever.
"Ill get you some water." He holds my hand again, not wanting to let go
"Promise you won't leave me here alone." Sighing, i try to smile.
"Promise."
Not long after, dale and Thomas comes in.
"How come you're sick and I'm not." Thomas raises an eyebrow, earning himself a glare from sick matthew.
"Leave the man be" I laugh.
"Whatever you say, I guess." Thomas chuckles and I find myself laughing along with him. Once I glance down at matthew he seemed bothered. I wonder what that's about.
"Ill go get some medic-" Dale holds me and shakes her head.
"No, you stay here and take care of him. Me and thomas will go to the storage room and get some medicine." I wasn't sure if she just wanted to be alone with Thomas or wanted me to suffer alone with matthew.
Either way, my protest died down when she insisted.
She soon left with Thomas, leaving me with matthew alone.
I sit down on the floor, beside his bed.
"Sorry." I mutter.
"For what?" I frown realizing I have ro spell it out for him.
"It's because of me you're sick." My words are barely out of my mouth when I catch him smiling like a fool.
"What?" I ask, noticing his smile.
"You said if I got sick, you wouldn't take care of me. But here you are." I suddenly want to smack him in the face for reminding me of that but I couldn't help by smile a little.
"Not like I had a choice."
