Neglected World Jumper (A New Neglected Genius)

Encounters Pt.2

(*This takes place before Naruto and his team left to the new world to rest*)

Somewhere else in the Forest of Death, Team 8 had finally got their set of Scrolls after defeating a team. Akamaru would bark as he grabbed the scroll from the deceased opponent.
"Way to go Akamaru!" Kiba said before petting his dog and Shino returning his bugs after devouring the chakra from them. Hinata however just watched as she was shaking a bit due to her shyness.
"Alright, We got our scrolls so let's make haste to the tower!" Kiba said.
"A-actually, it's getting late. Shouldn't we rest?" Hinata said which made sense. Shino would nod softly before responding.
"That is best for us to do." He said.
"Alright, I guess we can take camp." Kiba said and they would set up camp with their stuff and the stuff from the team they defeated making it more secure and safe for them to rest for the night coming soon.

While there was still some sunlight, Hinata would go find some extra berries and drinking water for her team as they would finish setting up their camp. As the Hyuga Princess would venture to find food for her team, she heard movements through the woods. Immediately she was on high alert and got into a defensive position. Whatever was lurking in the bushes wasn't coming out. So she decided to use her Clan's visual prowess, The Byakugan.

With this, she was able to see what was hidden in the bushes and what she saw was a person hiding. But they way they had themselves positioned made it look like they were severely injured. Hinata would look before approaching them. She would move through the shrubs and see the injured ninja.

The unknown ninja would look at her but it wasn't a look of anger nor determination. It was more of defeat and regret. Before he could even say anything or move anymore, his body gave out on him and he was passed out in front of her. Hinata would check on his pulse checking if he was still alive. Thankfully he was still alive, but seeing he was alone questioned Hinata if his team was still alive or did he get separated.
"Perhaps, I should bring him to our camp." She said to herself before making the decision to stay behind and help this ninja.

Hours has passed and the Injured ninja would wake up looking around seeing it was night time and smelled food near him. He would sit up slowly to see four sticks of fish over the fire.
'Am I...dead? No. I can still feel pain in the soreness of my body...I was saved...' He thought to himself before he heard shuffling through one of the tents. What came out was a small white dog that was barking at him. He didn't mind or care for the barking before looking around and trying to stand up. He would then see his gear and bag across from him. He would reach out to it before he moved out the way from someone's hand trying to touch him.
"Whoa whoa, Calm down!" The boy with the grey and black open jacket said. But he wasn't having it as he back handed him and rolled away getting to his stuff but that's when he would find a wall of bugs blocking his path.
'Bugs!?' He thought to himself before spotting another male ninja with glasses and his jacked going up to lower nose covering his mouth.
"Relax." He said to him but the Ninja didn't relax like he said until the woman he saw before he passed out stopped them all.
"Stop!" She said and they all stopped before she looked at the man she helped.
"You....I saw you...before I passed out." He finally talked and she nodded.
"Yes...I...decided to help you." She said before introducing herself to him.
"I'm Hinata Hyuga. And these two are my teammates; Shino Aburame, Kiba Inazuka and his dog Akamaru." She said.
'Hyuga.' He thought to himself.
"So... it's your turn stranger." Shino said however the male wouldn't speak again before getting his bag and his gear.
"Thank you for helping me." He simply said before heading out.
"Wait. Don't you want to eat?" Hinata asked and the man shook his head.
"I'm fine-" however his stomach said otherwise as it growled loudly.
"Look man, just come eat then you can leave." Kiba suggested and the male finally would give in and sit with them eating the slightly overcooked fish. All was silent as they ate. Kiba would lean to Hinata whispering to her, it was inaudible to Shino and the new ninja himself but from Hinata's face, she didn't like what he said and she used Gentle Fist on his stomach, making him hurl over and vomit the fish he just ate.
"Well....thank you for the food." He spoke again.
"No need to thank us." Shino said.
"If it wasn't for our friend here, you probably would've died." He added.
"U-umm..could you tell us your name at least and what happened with those injuries?" Hinata asked and it made him a bit defensive that she saw his injuries.
"I...guess it wouldn't hurt to explain." He said before introducing himself.
"My name is A, Representing Kumogakure no Sato with my team, team 8." He said before receiving a small reaction from Hinata.
"Kumo? So what happened to your team?" Shino asked.
"That...I don't know, we had just got our set of Scrolls then we were ambushed by man in a mask. He took all of us down by himself. I had the scrolls and didn't know if he wanted them. My team ordered for me to escape while they held him off. And I fear that they are probably dead after all, I got injured when he found me." He explained.
"A man in a mask? I don't think we saw someone like that in the first part of the exam." Kiba said and Akamaru would bark and communicate with Kiba.
"What? I mean it does make sense." He said.
"I-Is he communicating with the dog?" A asked.
"That's one of the abilities of the Inazuka Clan." Hinata explained and he nodded understanding before he sighs.
"I think I shall be going." A said as he stood up and began to walk away. However he was stopped once again by a wall of Bugs again.
"What now? I stayed for the fish, I'm no longer your problem." A said as he sounded irritated.
"We share the same objective to head to the tower, I believe we should stay together." Shino suggested.
"Wait, Shino, you do realize he is from a different village, and you want him to join us?" Kiba said while the Aburame nodded.
"Did you hit your head when we fought our last opponents?" Kiba asked before Hinata agreed with Shino.
"I...think it's a good idea." She said which made A look at them.
'Konoha is weird.' He thought to himself before he gave an answer.
"Sorry But I rather go and find my team instead. The tower will come later. If luck shines my way and we meet again." He said before creating purple lightning to zap the bugs in front of him before vanishing in the night.
"What a jerk!" Kiba said before going to his tent with Akamaru. Shino would look at him then at Hinata.
"You should rest Hinata, I'll take first watch." He said but she declined.
"I'll be okay. Go ahead and rest." Hinata said before Shino decided to go to his tent but not after having some of his bugs spread out around the perimeter and where Hinata was.

In another part of the Forest of Death, Naruko, and Sakura would be in a pickle as they not only lost their scrolls but Sasuke was severely hurt. Some guy they fought bit his neck claiming that Sasuke would come seeking for power. And now they were on their own trying to survive and make it to the tower while trying to find another scroll for them to take.
"What are we gonna do? We literally had a set of Scrolls and now we're gonna fail." Sakura said.
"We need to find a team fast." Naruko said while she was carrying Sasuke who was still unconscious. The two girls were worried about him since he has been the one carrying the team with his skills and with the curse mark on his neck, they don't know if he'll wake up soon.
