A Cure for the Cure.

You wake up and look around the room quickly to make sure your eyes still work. They do so you get up and dressed. You walk over to the garden, you feel a comforting feeling on your feet as the wet grass has made its way to your feet making your toes slightly wet. 

You look around and see Newt gardening. You sneak up behind him and scare him. He falls in a pile of mud.

“Aggh.” Newt yells.

He looks up and sees you laughing. He starts laughing as well.

“Morning sleepy head. Aren't you going to give your beloved boyfriend a hand up?” Newt askes while putting his hand out.

You smile and grab his arm to help him up. Instead of getting up Newt pulls you down into the mud.

“EWW! Why is it warm?!” you yell smearing mud all over his face.

 “I don't know! He says gently smearing mud on your neck, careful not to get any on your face.

 “GUYS! What is going on? Alby asks while trying not to laugh.

“IT WAS Y/N! Newt says quickly.

“Way to throw me under the bus! I scared him and he fell in the mud, then he pulled me into the mud.” you tell Alby.

“NEWT! THAT'S RUDE! Now both of you go clean up. Alby says, turning away quietly laughing.

You tap Newt then yell “tag your it!” and run away “oh you're on!” he yells back to you getting up and chasing you with his limp slightly more noticeable than normal. 

You run until you reach a small lake and jump in. Newt isn't far behind and jumps in after you, he swims over tagging you. You're Not the strongest swimmer so you don't go too far past your waist.

“Got ya!” Newt says tagging you.

You smile and look at the forest line to see Gally watching you play with his arms crossed. Once he sees you've noticed him he walks away. 

“Y/n? Y/n?” Newt askes while looking you in the eye even though you dont like eye contact.

“Lets-lets… let's go shower.” you say making perfect eye contact with Newt.

“Okay, you good?” Newt asks.

You respond with a simple  “mmhmm.”

You both shower and meet up outside after.

“Huh, what's that sound? It sounds familiar.” you say.

“THE BOX!” Newt yells excitedly.

Everyone rushes over to the box waiting excitedly! You and the gladers have been waiting for around thirty seconds when the doors slide open. Alby jumps in.

“Ahhh who are you?” the greenie yells scared.

You take a step forward to get a better look of the new greenie. While taking a step forward you don't notice the small tree root in front of you. You trip over it and fall into the box, you land on top of the greenie. 

“Ow” 

You quickly get up and look at Newt. He is looking down at you laughing and shaking his head. You look back down at the greenie and say 

“hello” no response.

 He is a boy who has dark blond hair, blue eyes, light skin, and is around the same size as Chuck but taller than Newt and shorter Gally.

“Im Y/n it's nice to meet you. Do you know your name?” You say while helping the greenie stand up.

He shakes his head no. Alby climbs out of the box. 

“Well may I show you around?” you ask.

“uhh, sure.” the greenie says nervously.

You let the greenie out, you climb out after him. You haven't noticed but your pant leg has turned red from blood, as you injured your leg when you fell. You turn and look at Newt's smile then start the tour. You are showing the greenie the bonfire spot when you start to feel weak from blood loss. You ignore it and continue on with the tour. You are in the forest and feel dizzy. 

“hey  i-im gonna si-sit down for a sec” you struggle to say unaware of your wound.

“Okay.” the greenie says

You see a log so make your way over, before you reach the log you pass out due to blood loss. :)
