“L-listen to me-
“To your s-s-stutter? No, it's annoying. I honestly don't know Newt puts up with you.” she says, mocking your stutter.
You start crying and Treasa flees when she sees Newt coming. Before she goes around the corner she slices her neck with her hand to indicate your dead.
“Alright I've got a blanket. L-love? Are you okay?”
“C-c-cold.” You stutter.
You scream.
“S-S-STOP!” you yell at yourself.
Gladers look at you confused. Newt backs up.
“Are you okay?” Newt asks.
“N-N-NO I-I CAN’T S-STOP S-S-S-STUT-STUTTERING!” you yell mad.
“Oh, to be honest, I didn't even notice.” Newt tells you.
“Me either.” Minho tells you
A few other gladers agree.
“R-really? I-i thought it was super noticeable?”
“At times yes, b-but I am the same way.”
“No you’re not, y-you never stutter.”
“Actually I do. It's not bad but occasionally I do.”
“But you are very cold right now, let's get you inside.” he says, picking you up. “You're wet from the rain as well.”
Newt carries you into your hut and sets you down on the bed. He grabs you a change of clothes as you both got all wet from the rain. You change then Newt wraps you in blankets to warm you up. He walks over to a window and pulls it shut. He sits down next to the heap of blankets that you are under… Somewhere. He digs around and finds you he laughs and says
“I can't even see you!”
“I-I'm under here!” You say.
Newt keeps digging in the blankets and finds you. He kisses your nose. You laugh and kiss his. You dive back under the blankets. Newt smiles and grabs the bottom blanket. you are wrapped up and you feel Newt pick up the blanket.
“WAIT! NEWT! I'M IN HERE!” you yell.
Newt puts the blanket down. You start to laugh. He unwraps you. You get out of the blanket, and kneel on the bed so you can see Newt almost eye to eye.
(He grabs your waist, you put your arms on his shoulders. You kiss him. He kisses you back. Your bodies press up against each other, you get butterflies. He picks you up and you kiss again.
“I love you.” You say while wrapping your arms tightly around him.
You start to slip out of his grip so Newt throws you on the bed. You get back up on your knees.)
“Should we go back and see everyone?” Newt asks
You kiss Newt on the lips.
“You always know how to answer questions correctly.”
