He carries you to the bonfire so you don't have to put pressure on it. You have been there for around ten minutes when you start to not feel well. As Newt is not looking you limp over to a tree that's out of the way. you throw up. You crouch down and someone puts their hand on your back, it's Newt.
“Newt, you know I hate when people put their hand on my back after I've just thrown up.”
“Your unwell lets get you in bed.” He whispers
He picks you up in an unusual way. He starts to walk in the opposite direction. You smell his shirt and realise it's not him, Newt always smells like plans. This guy smells like wood.
He covers your mouth as you yell “GALLY! PUT ME DOWN!” no one hears you.
You flail around in his arms and he is trying to get a better grip. You stop trying to get away and say.
“W-w-wait wait, G-Gally i'm going to throw up again.”
You start coughing. You tap his shoulder to try and get down, but he doesn't let you.
“I’m not letting you down.” He tells you.
“I will throw up on you.” You say in a weak voice.
“Okay i'll put you down, you can throw up. But if you even think about running you'll regret it.
He puts you down and you crouch. You don't throw up, only gag as there is nothing in your stomach.

At the bonfire
“Y/n? Y/n?” Newt says looking everywhere for you.
He asks Minho as he is getting worried.
“I have not seen her, I only saw her beside you.” Minho tells him.
“Aggh” Newt pauses “Where is gally?”
“Not sure.”
“I'm going to ask Terasa. She must know where he is, their best friends.” Newt tells Minho as he walks over to Treasa who is looking at where you threw up.
“Have you seen Y/n or gally?” Newt asks
“Yes Y/n threw up and Gally carried her somewhere.”
“What? where are they?” He asks.
“I don’t know, they went over there somewhere.” She says pointing in that general direction.

Back to you and Gally
“You're not even throwing up. Why did I have to put you down?” Gally asks.
You finally throw up and lay down in the grass absolutely exhausted. Newt sees gally looking at you laying on the ground with his hands on his hips. Newt turns around and quickly runs to get Alby for backup. Gally tries to pick you up but Newt stops him.
“Newt?” Gally asks startled.
“I thought I told you to stay away from Y/n? Hmm you've only done the opposite.” Newt tells Gally.
“Y/n, are you okay?” Newt asks you.
“I’m really not feeling well.”
“Want me to get Jeff?”
You nod.
“Alby can you get a med jack for us?” Newt asks.
“Jeff is already coming! GALLY GET LOST!” Alby yells.
Gally leaves and goes back to the bonfire. Jeff kneels down beside you and puts his hand on your forehead to see if you have a fever.
“You're not fevered, Y/n what have you eaten today?"
“Uhh, some bread and strawberries, I think.”
“And you’ve been taking painkillers?”
“Yes. yes I have”
“And you haven't eaten anything today?”
“I have, just not much.” You tell jeff.
“Well, I've found the problem. You're not supposed to take painkillers on an empty stomach. I forgot to mention that.” Jeff tells you and Newt.
“See y/n, you need to eat-.” He gets cut off by you dry heaving.
Newt crouches down next to you. You stop and lay back down.
“Jeff, aren't you going to help? Give her medicine or something?” Newt asks.
“I mean I can give her a needle, but I don't like to when the glader is on an empty stomach. She would need to eat something. And it would only help her leg. Honesty I'd just let her sleep, then she MUST eat something in the morning” He tells him.
“Okay, I’m going to go to bed.” you say standing up.
Newt picks you up and starts walking to his hut. Newt smiles at Jeff as a thank you. You smell his shirt to double check its Newt.
“Newt, I need to use the washroom before I go to bed.” You tell him
“Yes, I know I'm taking you there. Why did you let Gally pick you up?” Newt asks.
“When he whispered to me, it sounded like you and when he picked me up I realised it's not how you normally pick me up, so I smelled his shirt and that's when I realised it was Gally. You always smell like plants.” You tell Newt.
He smells his shirt.
“I think I smell like a dirty teenage boy.”
“No you don't, you smell goood.” You tell him smelling his shirt again.
“What did, Gally smell, like?” Newt asks, trying not to sound weird.
“Wood.”
“Huh, alright we are here.” Newt says putting you down and opening the bathroom door. You go in and change. you come out and yell
“Newt?! Where are you?”
“In front of you? Can you not see me?”
You stick your arm out and feel him. He picks you up and walks you to his hut. He sets you down on the bed and lights a few candles. then asks you
“We have moved your stuff into my hut as Ryan needed a hut, we now share a hut. Is that okay?”
“Yep, so now this is our hut?” you ask him.
“Yep. Now you need to sleep.”
You get under the covers and fall asleep to newt talking to himself. He later climbs in with you.
