A Cure for the Cure.

chapter 24

You have both finished eating and are on your way to the map room. Newt is carrying you. You arrive at the map room and Newt sits you down on a chair at a big round table. The table has a large diagram of the maze, it looks like it is made out of twigs. He walks over to a cabinet and grabs a few sheets of paper and different coloured highlighters and a pencil. He brings it all over to the table and asks 

“Love, what section do you want?”

“Seven please”

“Sure!” He pulls out a large square paper and walks over to the table.

You examine it and draw the main parts of it. You take some notes and highlight parts. You look at your copy and trace all of the loops. You do the same for all the sections on different pages. You look at them all and rearrange them multiple times until you're satisfied. You have been working for about two hours. 

“Ugg, my brain hurts!” you yell frustrated.

“Love, I got lost in what you were doing around ten minutes in, why don't you take a break.”

“I guess. You didn't have to stay with me.” you say while collecting all of your papers that mean something.

“Well what if I wanted to support my girlfriend?” he says kissing you. You stay kissing.

kissing you he grabs your waist and helps you up, you put your hands on his shoulders. you pull yourself up and kiss him again, he kisses you back hard and picks you up. He is holding you. You get lost making out and don't hear someone come in. you keep making out.

(end of spice lmao)

“Someone's here, Newt? Y/n? Someone asks.

You both pull away quickly and look at each other quite embarrassed, remembering what happened last time with all the weird stairs. (Newt puts you down.) You look over and see it’s Gally and Treasa. 

“What are you two doing in here?” Newt asks. 

“I was about to ask the same thing,” Gally says.

You sneeze and grab your stomach. Under your breath you say “oh no.”

“+gasp+, are you okay?” Newt asks looking down at you.

You whisper in his ear “I need to go to the washroom.”

“Okay.” Newt says walking behind you to check if you bled through, you didn't.

he grabs your sheets of work and directs Gally and Teresa out then picks you up and walks you over to the washroom. 

“Will you be okay?” Newt asks.

“I'm prepared this time. You tell him.

“Okay. I'll be outside. He tells you while you go into the room.

You do your business and change the pad. You trip over Newts pants as they are a bit long, you brace against the door.

“Y/n? Are you ok?” Newt asks gently knocking on the door. 

“Yup I’m fine, just forgot how to walk.” you say with a laugh.

You open the door and put your arms out indicating you want to be carried. Newt chuckles and picks you up. 

“It's almost dinner time shall we go?” Newt asks you.

“Yes, I just hope Gally and Treasa don't make a big deal on what they walked in on earlier.” You tell him.

“I doubt it.” Newt says walking over to frypan with you in his arms.
