~Kat's POV~
I was walking to go. Well. I don't know actually. I just started walking. I hear someone yelling. I didn't recognize the voice so I kept walking. "HEY! I'M TALKING TO YOU! I WANNA TALK TO YOU!" I could tell it was a grown man. I started walking faster. "HEY!" he grabbed my wrist and I snatched away. Mostly in pain because the cuts but also to get away. He grabbed my shoulders and I couldn't get away. I was swung around and saw a tall guy and I realized he was one of the kids from school. He was the one that picked on me the first day. He has a really deep voice. Him and his friends surrounded me. And started beating on me. Yelling words at me that I knew were true. I didn't cry. I didn't wince. I just sat there and let them beat me. Everything started getting blurry and then I heard Chandler. "HEY GET AWAY FROM HER!!!" he seemed mad. And I wondered why. They continued and kept beating. "UGLY, FAT, ANNOYING SHORT BITCH! WHATCHA GONNA DO NOW!!? HUH!!??AIN'T NOBODY CARE ABOUT YO-" his voice jerked and as my vision was getting more clear I had realized that chandler was beating them up with the help of Andrew and Norman. Why are these people helping me. I got up and brushed off. And chandler stopped beating up the big guy. I looked at him. He looked back. I was about to say I don't need your help but I got lost in his eyes again. Then he looked at my side. One of the guys had a knife and had cut my side a little bit. I just covered my wrists and kept walking. Then I started limping. He walked over to me. And asked if I was okay. "Why don't you go worry about Katelyn. You like her anyways. Just. Don't worry about me." I said quietly. "What do you mean? I've known you for a week Kat, and you're the most amazing person I've ever met. I'd rather you over anyone." He said. With his voice shaking. I looked at him. He was tearing up. I walked over to him and hugged him. He was surprised and he hugged back. He held my hand and looked at my side. I looked down and had realized the cut wasn't as small as I thought. He started to walk me to a hospital. I stopped. He looked at me concerned. "I have to go get Ally. She needs to be home shortly. I can talk to you some other time. Or see you at school." He looked at me concerned and just kept walking with me to go get Ally.
