~Kat's POV~
How. Is the only thing I can ask myself. Its been a few months. Its almost December. So far season 6 is great. It's like a dream. This life. There's only one problem. Ally's birthday is coming up. She'll be 4. That's the age the beating starts. Today is Wednesday. Her birthday is Saturday. I don't know what's gonna happen. But I won't let him beat her. I won't. He can't. I walked them to school as always. And meet up with Chandler. "Hey, so we've been best friends for a while now.." "Yeah, and you're the best friend I've ever had. No one has ever been so nice to me. Ever." I reply. "I was wondering if you like me, more than. A friend." He asked nervously. I froze. I didn't know how to reply. I mean of course I do but what if he doesn't. What if he's just asking so he could make fun of me later for it. "Maybe" I whisper very quietly. He smiled. Man I love his smile. "I like you too" he said. I blushed and covered my face with my sleeve. "Can I take you out to diner Saturday?" Saturday. I can't saturday. That's Ally's birthday party. "I can't" I say quickly. He frowned. "How come?" He asked. "Ally is having her birthday party. I promised her I'd stay home that Saturday, but you could come her party?" I suggest. "Definitely. I'll see you there" we both smile. The week went by quickly and then Saturday was here. I woke up extra early to get the party ready. We got a bouncy house and a ball pit. She invited a lot of friends from school and I could tell she makes friends better than I do. All friends arrived and I went upstairs to wake her up. And saw her sitting on her bed waking up. "Hey pumkin. You ready?" "I don't have anything to wear." She said sadly. "Well I got you something." I said with a smile. She looked up to see me pull out a blue dress with a tiara for her to wear. She smiled. And got ready. I fixed her hair and walked her downstairs. Everyone clapped and was happy. Except for one person. My dad. He looked at her and smirked. She looked at me worried. I held her close and brought her outside. Then I saw Chandler and so did she. She smiled at him. Ran and gave him a big hug. He held her for a minute and then put her in the bouncy house. Me and Chandler stood there and watched them and let my mom get some sleep.
