~Kat's POV~
They got the door off the car and pulled Chandler out. They put him in an ambulance. I got in next to him and let a paramedic drive my car. I held his hand and tried talking to him to keep him awake. "How did you not see the truck?" I asked. "My eyes were filled with tears." He whispered. "You're gonna be okay." I assured him. "I'm really tired." He said slowly letting go of my hand. "Chandler, stay awake!" I said holding his hand tighter. "I love you." He whispered before closing his eyes. "Chandler!!" I yelled. We got to the hospital and they rushed him inside and I followed. They pulled me away before bringing him in the emergency room. I sat in the waiting room. I fell asleep waiting to hear if he was okay.

*Chandler's POV*
I woke up and looked around. I was in a hospital room and nobody was there. Where's Kat? What happened? I don't remember how I got here. I started to get up. I stopped for a second realizing I was in pain then I got up. I walked out of the room. The hall was empty. I walked to the waiting room. "Sir!" A voice called. "You need to go back to your room." They yelled. I kept going. I saw Kat sleeping in the waiting room. She had been crying. I ran beside her and held her hand. "Kat." I whispered. She slowly opened her eyes. "Chandler! You're okay! Why are you out of your room?" She asked. "I wanted to see you." I smiled. "Well let's go to your room." She said. "Fine." I said. We got up and walked back to my room. "So I've been thinking a lot and." I paused. She looked worried. "And what?" I smiled and she looked confused. "I think we should move." I said. "Like, to a house?" She smiled. I nodded. "When?" She asked. "Before the wedding." I suggested. She nodded. "Well hurry and get better and we can do that." She laughed. "Will do." I smiled. "I'll start packing and finding a job." She said. "You're still doing online school though. You shouldn't be working and going to college." I said. "Well, I graduate this weekend so I'll be fine." She smiled.

~Kat's POV~
After a while we left the hospital and went home. I started packing and Chandler looked at houses. "Why don't we see if we can get on one of those shows?" He asked. "This face on tv? No thanks." I laughed. "I'm gonna do it anyways. You're beautiful." He smiled. I rolled my eyes. "Pack your stuff." I said. He walked upstairs and started packing some clothes. *knock on door* "you gonna get that or am I?" I asked. "I'll get it." He said running out the room. That was fast. What is he hiding? I walked downstairs. "Hi." A girl said. "Hi? Chandler who is that?" I asked. "Kat, this is our real estate agent and also she is on a show called house hunters." He explained. I got irritated. I didn't want anything to do with a show. I just wanted to buy a house. I can't stay mad at him though. "Well I'd love to stay and talk but I have to go find a job." I said walking to the door. "I'll see you in a little while." Chandler said sadly. I walked out of the door and left. I went to a hospital and started looking to see if there was a nurse job available. There wasn't. I went to a doctors office to see if I could be a pediatrician. They hired me after the interview and said I start Monday. I went back home and walked inside. Chandler was talking to the girl still. "Chandler, can I talk to you please?" I asked. He nodded and followed me to the kitchen. "I don't wanna do that. I just want to find a nice house on our own. I don't want to be on tv or anything. I can't." I said. "Okay, we won't. I promise. We'll just look ourselves. I'll ask her to leave." He said. "Sorry." I said. "It's okay." He replied.

{3 hours later}

We've been looking at houses. I've not found one that I really want yet but I think we'll find one soon. I mean, it's only the first day so we probably won't find one the first day of looking. "Why don't we go home and look at some houses on the internet instead of looking around tiring ourselves out?" Chandler suggested. "Sounds good to me." I smiled. We got in the car and went to the apartment. It was late so we just went to sleep after dinner and decided to continue our search the next day. When I woke up there was a note on the night table.

Good morning beautiful. I hope you slept well. I made you breakfast. I hope you like it. I'm not much of a cook. I'll be downstairs looking at houses. I love you.

I sat up and picked up the plate of food next to the note. I tried a bite of egg. It was pretty good. I finished my food and went downstairs. "Good morning beautiful." He smiled. I sat next to him on the couch. I curled up next to him. "Fine anything yet?" I asked. "Not yet." He said. He kept looking at different houses. "That one!" I said making him jump a little. I laughed. "Sorry." I smiled. He smiled and held me close to him. "You like this one?" He asked going back to it. I nodded. We looked at the rooms. It looked too good to be true. It was the most amazing house. "Want to go look at it?" He asked. I looked at the price. I frowned. "No. It's okay." I said. He must have seen that I looked at the price because he replied with "no harm done looking at it right?" I sat up. "Go get ready, we can go look at it." He smiled. We went to the house and looked around. It was beautiful. Think of the most amazing house you've seen, it's like a hundred times better.

*Chandler's POV*
I listened to Kat talk about how much she loved this house. It was a lot of money but it would be worth it to give her something that makes her this happy. It had five bedrooms and four bathrooms. The kitchen was huge. Living room was very spacey. All I can do is watch how much she loved the house. "It's beautiful." She smiled. Then she frowned. "What?" I asked. "It's too much. I can't ask you to spend that much on a house. Especially when we need money for the wedding." She explained. "It's okay, we can find another house." I lied. "Okay. I'll see you in the car." She said walking away. I hated seeing her upset. I put an offer in for the house for a little less than they were asking. I got in the car and started to drive home. "I'm so sorry." I said. "It's okay." She smiled a little. I pulled into the driveway. "I need to get ready to go to my classes. I've got two today." She said going upstairs. I took out my phone and texted everyone I knew and asked for a favor. Kat left a few minutes later. I heard a knock at the door after she left. I opened it to see her mom and little sister. "Hey, what favor did you need?" She asked. I asked her to come in and sit down and wait. I did the same thing for everyone else that I asked. Last person to show up was Steven. "What did you need help with?" He asked. "Come in, I'll explain everything." I said. He walked inside and sat down on the arm of the couch. "Okay so I know y'all are wondering why I asked you all to come today but I was wondering if you would help me give my girl the house she loves. It's expensive but it's for her and I'm buying it but can y'all help move our stuff over there without her knowing and set up a party for when we get it done?" I asked. "I'm in." "Me too." "That's sweet, I'm here to help." A bunch of them started agreeing to it. I smiled. "Okay but I need someone to keep her busy and away from the house and apartment for a few days. Can one of the girls have a sleep over with her?" I asked. "Done." Elizabeth said. "I'll be there too." Katelyn said. "Thank you both so much. Her class ends at six and her other class starts at seven and ends at eight." I said. They nodded and left. "Okay, I need someone everyone else to help pack and move, is that okay?" I asked. They all nodded and agreed. We got started packing to make the move.
