~Kat's POV~
I woke up in someone's arms. I bet you can guess whose arms it was. I turned to face Chandler. I saw his face and it was bruised. I jumped out of his arms and stood up. "CHANDLER WHAT HAPPENED!?" I shouted "calm down. I'm okay. I promise." He said shushing me. "Chandler your face is bruised. You're not okay." I replied. "I promise. I'm okay. You're the one I'm worried about. Have you seen your bruises!?" He half yelled. I jumped back. "Sorry." He said quietly looking down. I walked to the bathroom to look in the mirrior. My face looked awful. How could he even look at me. I felt arms around me. "How can you even look at me. I look awful." I asked Chandler. "You're gorgeous. Even with all the bruises." He smiled hugging me lightly. I smiled a little. We both walked downstairs. His whole family was there. I'm sure they didn't care about me but Chandler had bruises too and they would worry about him. "Chandler what happened last night!?" His mom yelled. "I'm fine mom. I promise. Me and Kat are just gonna go walk." Chandler said trying to calm her down. "Y'all please be careful. I don't want any of you to get hurt anymore." She said back to him. He nodded. We walked outside and walled. Holding hands and me leaning on his shoulder. "Do you think, I'll ever get away from being beat?" I asked him. "What do you mean. You won't get beat anymore. I'm here for you." He replied. "Yeah but, I've always been a target and I'm not sure why but-" he cut me off. "I want to be with you for a long long time, and I won't let anything else happens to you." He said back. I smiled. And so did he.

*4 years later* (I wanted to skip ahead to when they're adults.)

I was about to be 20. Ally had still been ignoring me. I don't get why it was a big deal. She's 8 now. She should be more understanding. I was in my room. I walked downstairs to talk to her. She was always the first one up so it was just me and her awake. "Hey pumkin, listen I'm really sorry but it was 4 years ago. Come on please don't ignore me anymore." I told her. "I understand it was a stupid reason to ignore you, but I was younger. I'm sorry. I won't ignore you anymore." She said with her sweet voice. We both smiled and laughed. I fixed her breakfast and let her eat. Then we walked outside to play. Chandler walked over to our house perfect timing. We all played tag running around like idiots. It was Saturday. Tomorrow is my birthday. I'll probably just sit home. I know it's weird I haven't moved out or went to college yet but I already sent an application for NYU. After we got done playing tag it was time for dinner. We ate Red Beans and Rice. Then I played Black Ops 2 with Earl. After that it was off to bed. I woke up and got ready for Church. I brought Ally with me. After Church I went to the store to get some groceries and then I headed back home.
