~Kat's POV~
I got up bored from watching TV and decided to go talk to Earl. He hasn't said a word since we moved. "Hey you okay?" I ask walking into his room. "Yeah, I'm fine." he says softly. "What are you playing?" I ask pointing to the PlayStation 3. "Black ops 2zombies." He says. "Cool. Gimmee a controller." I demand. He hands me a controller and we played for a while. Then I heard the doorbell ring. "I'm gonna go see if that's Chandler." I tell him. He nods and keeps playing. I walk downstairs and open the door to see Chandler in a tux with a rose in his hand. "Wow" he says. "What?" I ask. "You look gorgeous." He said. I couldn't respond so I folded my arms. Since its cold outside and we started walking. We got to the dance and when we walked in. Everyone looked. I tried to ignore it and continue walking but everyone was looking at us and walking up to us asking if we were together. And then "why did you come here with her? You could've been here with me, and you picked her!" I look over to see Jenna, a girl that likes Chandler for money and looks. "Listen Jenna, I don't want to be with someone who only likes me for money, that's not why Kat likes me." I smiled and she walked away. Me and Chandler danced to slow songs and laughed at people dancing to faster songs. The dance ended and we started to walk home.
