Lia rode the familiar route to John b's, she knew it like the back of her hand and could probably get there from her own home with her eyes closed. The chateau was more of a home to the red head then her own was, John b and big John has always welcomed her with open arms from the minuet that John b and JJ had come back home dragging Lia along with them, all three of them with muddy shoes, scraped knees and windswept hair.

As she arrived at the worn down house she couldn't help the sigh of relief that left her lips as she felt every inch of tension leave her body at the sight of the old fishing shack that held memories of the times that she had been happiest growing up, where she had only ever felt love and acceptance.

Lia set down her bike on the grass beside the front door before entering the house. She could hardly contain her giggles as she saw John b and JJ passed out together on the relatively small couch that turned into a pull out. The pair both sprawled out, limbs flailed all over the place, when a floorboard squeaked under her foot Lia's giggles faulted as JJ let out a groan before turning over, facing away from her, some incoherent mumble's falling from his mouth. Quietly continuing her way to the fridge to get a carton or her pre made ice coffee Lia grabbed one as well as a couple of pop tarts from her snack collection she kept in a small cupboard that wasn't being used. She then snuck back to the porch where she settled herself down with a book she'd packed in her bag and a tattered blanket that was lazily thrown over one of the chairs knowing that the boys would most likely be asleep for a while longer, neither of them getting up for at least another hour or so was inevitable.

"Mornin' princess" a voice mumble's as a body all but falls down next to her, making Cordelia jump slightly. Turning her head she spotted JJ slouching next to her on the small two seater, a lazy grin lay on his lips, his eyes still dropey with sleep.

Emerald green and sky blue met, a soft smile shared between the two.

Lia tossed her book aside and it landed on the table next to her with a light thump before she reached for the edge of the tartan blanket, lifting it so the blonde boy could move to join her underneath it. Lia still couldn't stop the flutter of butterflies that seemed to have a reoccurring presences whenever she was this close to the blonde, when she was had first developed these feelings she had been terrified and she still was, but over the last three years they had also become a source of comfort and made her feel all warm and fuzzy.

"Thanks"

JJ said as he settled next to her, their shoulders brushing, their thighs touching. A warmth flooded Cordelia's cheeks and she turned away quickly to grab the last remaining pop tart in hopes to stop the boy next to her from seeing her crimson cheeks, though this caused her to miss the slight flush that spread on his cheeks also.

"Anytime" she told him honestly turning back to face him now that her cheeks had retuned to their normal color

"Here, have this, I've had enough" she said as she held out the pop tart.

"Thank you, milady" he responded with a posh accent taking it from her and taking a dramatic bite.

"Been here long?" he asked after swallowing.

It wasn't unusual for Cordelia to be at the Chateau before anyone inside had woken up or to have appeared at some point during the night, normally ending up in what had become JJ's room or curled up on the pull out. Her four friends had there guesses as to why, especially JJ who always felt he could read her better then the others. Like how she picked at the skin around her fingers she was worried or when she would chew on the inside or her cheek she was nervous or the way she would fidget with her fingers, his rings or bracelets when she was anxious. He knew when she was truly happy when her dimples would show as her smile stretched across her face or when she would ramble when she excited or the way she'd use more curse words when she was passionate about something, but all friends noticed things like that about each other, right?

"Not long" she told him quietly "maybe about an hour"

"An hour-" he mumbled through a mouthful of his pop tart, spraying a few crumbs.

"Jayj" Lia groaned in disgust wiping her face.

"Sorry" he chuckled "An hour though Lia, you should of woken me up, I would of kept you company" he told her as he lightly nudged her converse clad foot with his boot covered one.

"I know J, but you and JB were sparko when I got here, and it was still pretty earlier. Thought I'd leave you to get your beauty sleep, y'know." she teased him, bumping his shoulder with his, a grin on her face.

JJ scoffed in disbelief "Beauty sleep!" he repeated incredulously, sitting up a bit straighter, his eyes narrowed, a finger pointed at her accusingly "I'll have you know missy, JJ Maybank does not need "beauty sleep"- he is perfectly handsome without it- in fact I don't even need sleep" he rambled scoffing every so often.

Oh boy did Cordelia agree but she couldn't let him know that so she cocked her head to the side and furrowed her eyebrows at him "Uhuh- sure" she breathed sarcastically, feigning to not believe him.

"That's it" the boy exclaimed not giving her a chance to react before he launched his attack, tickling her sides, causing a laugh to erupt from her as she tried to squirm away.

"J-Jayj s-stop!" she gasped between giggles, sighing in relief when the tickling ceased. Throughout the tickle attack somehow there legs had become intwined but Lia didn't notice as she tried to catch her breath. JJ rested his head on the back of the chair, his arms out stretched across the top and it wasn't long before soft snores emitted from his mouth. Cordelia laughed at the boys ease to fall asleep at the drop of a hat, soon her own eyes became heavy, the bad night sleep on the beach and the early morning caught up to her and she too was soon fast asleep.

As she slept her head slowly drooped to once side, the side that JJ's shoulder just so happened to be on, not long after her head had landed on his shoulder JJ's arms found it's way from the back of the chair and was lightly resting round her shoulder, pulling her too him subconsiously. And that's how John b found them forty five minuets later when he'd woken up and searched for his blonde hair friend. John b chuckled too himself wondering how long the two of them would remain oblivious.
