After leaving The Wreck, the Pogues piled back into the Twinkie, stomachs full and laughter still lingering in the air.
First, Pope was dropped off at his house, giving a quick wave before heading inside. Next, they drove towards JJ's place. He hopped out of the van with a brief, forced smile, muttering something about seeing them tomorrow before heading in.

It wasn't long before they entered Figure Eight, the upscale part of town, where Kiara lived. The group always felt the contrast when coming here—the big houses, neatly trimmed lawns, the whole "rich kid" atmosphere.
John B pulled up in front of Kiara's house. She gave them all a lazy wave before getting out –Later, losers

As John B was about to turn the van around and head back, Maeve cleared her throat from the backseat –Hey, uh, John B? –She started, hesitant

He glanced at her in the rearview mirror –Yeah?

–Can you drop me off at Kelce's place? –Maeve asked, her voice quieter than usual

John B frowned, slowing down a little –Kelce's? What for?

She sighed, shifting uncomfortably –I need to talk to Cole we've been... you know, not really talking since the fight

As Maeve was halfway out of the van, John B leaned over the steering wheel, frowning a little.

–Wait, I thought you were crashing at mine tonight –He said, sounding slightly confused

Maeve paused, one foot still on the ground, and turned back to look at him –Yeah, I was going to, but... I need to sort this out with Cole first

John B raised an eyebrow but didn't push further. He knew Maeve and Cole had been going through some stuff, and he wasn't about to get in the middle of it –Alright, your call

He took a left, heading toward Kelce's house. The ride was mostly quiet after that, the only sound coming from the low murmur of the radio. Maeve stared out the window, watching the large houses and manicured lawns pass by, her mind already turning over the conversation she was about to have with Cole.

When they pulled up in front of Kelce's place, Maeve hesitated for a moment before reaching for the door handle.

–You sure you want to do this? –John B asked, a hint of concern in his voice

Maeve nodded, though she wasn't entirely sure herself –Yeah... it's now or never

–Alright, good luck then  –John B said softly –Call me if you need

–Thanks –She said, stepping out of the van

She gave him a small wave before walking up the path to Kelce's door, mentally preparing herself for whatever was about to come next. The lights inside were bright, casting a warm glow through the windows, and the faint hum of music leaked out into the night. As she approached the door, the sound of laughter and muffled conversation grew louder.
