"Fuck this lying around and waiting bullshit." Michael groaned as he leaned against a post keeping up a watch tower. "We haven't had so much as a fight in days... not since the attack." Y/N clearly not in the talkative mood looked at Michael with a unimpressed look as he held binoculars.
"There's a reason they won't start another offensive." Y/N simply replied as he went back to looking through the binoculars. He was scanning the distance for any potential counter attack. He was doing anything and everything to keep his mind off of what had happened to that poor, sweet kid, Aalem. He didn't deserve to be caught up in this war. A war of differing opinions and politics.

"I know... but we can't stay here forever..." Michael sighed. "It's not gonna do us any good sitting in this shit hole of a place any longer." Y/N barely grunted as a reply as he didn't even attempt to look at Michael. "Y/N... I know it's tough... but Aalem would've wanted us to move forward. Keep our heads held high." Michael comforted Y/N but to Y/N it seemed more like a persuasion tactic rather than any form of comfort.
"Really, huh? And how would you know that?" Y/N passive aggressively replied as he gritted his teeth. Michael didn't reply instead only picking up his rifle before turning to Y/N.

"Listen, I get it right... you're pissed off and even if you don't have anybody to go back to... I do. I need to see Sarah again. I can't die in this waste land." Michael stated with a tone that shushed Y/N's anger and turned it to inquisition. "I need this war to be over... as soon as possible. Y/N... either you can help me do something about this... or you can stay here wallowing in your own self-pity." Michael turned to Y/N with a stern look... but then something edged onto Michael's lips... a smirk. "So what do you say, Soldier?" Y/N momentarily forgot about what had happened as he smiled in response.
"Yeah... I'm in till we die."

Months later

*COUGH!*

*COUGH!*

A sizzling sound breached the air around Y/N as he looked to his chest. Y/N was lying on the ground after the aftermath of whatever had just happened Y/N had done this before... only just a few months ago when he had been captured by the Taliban. Back then he had no idea what he had done but now... now he still wasn't entirely sure. Was it magic? Was it an experiment that he didn't know about? He wasn't sure but he knew his capabilities.

Y/N stared at his chest to see ripple like scars enveloped around the centre his chest with what seemed like burn marks embedded into centre of where the explosion came from. Y/N groaned as he got up to see where Striker was. Yet, he wasn't there. Y/N would've usually assumed that striker would've been disintegrated in the explosion but... Y/N looked to what was left of Maeve. Still there. The dust particles where still there. Y/N scrunched his nose as he felt an emotion he so painfully knew all about... HATE. He had felt it before for those Taliban fighters, he had felt it for his grandfather... but now it seemed so pure, so real.

With his grandfather he knew why he was abused by him. His own grandfather blamed Y/N for his parents death... with the Taliban fighter he knew why... they were fighting for their country, their ideals... but striker... striker had no reason to kill Maeve. Maeve was Strikers student, his pupil, and yet he threw her aside like she was just another barrier preventing him from his objective. He had no right...
"NO FUCKING RIGHT!" Y/N growled as he pounded the ground with the under side of his fist.

Y/N felt himself begin to tear up as he thought about it over and over again. Flowey was right... he would just get here killed.
"Looks like I was right~" speak of the devil. Y/N whipped his head around to see Flowey with his usual arrogant smile. Y/N eyes glowed a deep purple once again as he glared at the flower. "Y'know everything you touch seems to turn to dust... literally- GAH!" Y/N grabbed the flowers stem as he uncaring ripped him from the ground. Y/N stared his eyes telling Flowey of every little thing he was going to do to the flower as Flowey's look turned from arrogance to fear. "Wait! Please don't!" Flowey begged as Y/N just looked down on him with an anger filled disgust that plagued his face.
