"Avalynn and jack kiss and tim gets upset"

It was the twins 14TH birthday and Lucy and Tim decided to let them have a birthday party at their house with a bunch of their friends from school.
Aidan was at his friends for the night.

"this party is going to go so bad a bunch of early teens partying is not my cup of tea." Tim grumbles and Lucy chuckles as she finishes party food.
"Tim shut up, they are going to have so much fun." Lucy replies touching his arm.
"I can't believe they are 14 already, it feels like yesterday when I was in that court room with Wesley fighting for them." He sighs rubbing his face.
"And you've gave them a good life Tim" Lucy says softly.

"I swear if anything weird happens I'm kicking them all out Lucy" Tim snaps and Lucy shakes her head.
"You will not Tim because nothing weird isn't going to happen because they are only 14. And plus we are going to be in the next room, still supervising but  not interrupting their party." Lucy says.

"You never know what could happen Lucy! On my 14TH birthday..you know never mind" Tim winces and Lucy smirks and raises a brow.
"What happened on your 14TH?" She asks and Tim shrugs her off.
"Nothing." He grumbles and Lucy shakes her head she will get that story off him one day.

Avalynn comes in with her hair all curled , light makeup and she was wearing a black sparkly long sleeve  skin tight mini dress.
"You look absolutely gorgeous sweetie" Lucy says softly pulling her in for a hug and kissing her head.
"You are absolutely not wearing that, change now!" Tim snaps and Lucy and Avalynn glares at Tim.
"Tim! She looks gorgeous. Shut your trap" Lucy snaps which makes Avalynn giggle.

"Just pull it down abit then"he grumbles turning away to finish cutting up food.
"everyone is coming in half an hour. Arlo is at Angelas and Wesley's house, he's coming over with Jack in a minute." Avalynn informs her parents, who nod.

"And dad stay out of our way" avalynn chuckles and Tim snaps her head to her and gasps.
"so your telling me to stay out of the way and not Lucy??" He asks offended.
"You get a little..over the top. Especially when there are boys around me, and girls around Arlo..just play it down for us just for today..please?" She begs and Tim rolls his eyes and pulls away from the food and walks up to his daughter with his arms open for a hug.

"happy birthday sweetie, and I won't go over the top" he says kissing her head and she nods.
"Thanks dad" she smiles and the door opens, it was Jack and Arlo.
"Hey guys" Lucy shouts and they come into the kitchen, jacks eyes were stuck on  Avalynn..Tim immediately noticed and tensed up but decided not to say anything as he promised he wouldn't.

"happy birthday buddy" Tim says pulling his son in for a hug and Lucy does the same.
"Thanks." He mumbles embarrassed that he hugged his parents infront of Jack.
"okay you three go into the living room and set up, we will bring the food in in a minute" Tim says and the three nod and walk off, Tim snaps his head at Lucy.

"Lopez's kid was checking Avalynn out. I swear-" Tim snaps and Lucy chuckles and stops him.
"Shh! Tim calm down, he was probably looking at how gorgeous she is." Lucy says calming him down.

"I don't like this." Tim grumbles.
"You've said. Many, many times" she replies.

Everyone arrived and gave Arlo and Avalynn presents and the party started.
Half way through the party one of Avalynns friends suggested playing spin the bottle and everyone agreed.

Tim's ears perked up from where they were sat in the kitchen, which was in the next room from the living room.
"That's it , they are absolutely not playing that" Tim snaps getting up and Lucy grabs her husband's hand and shakes her head.
"Timothy Bradford ,put your ass back on that chair." She snaps.
"Lucy do you know what kind of game they are playing?" He asks and Lucy nods.

"Yes I do, all teenagers play it Tim. Gosh I played it when I was like 12. So calm down it's fine" she says and Tim rolls his eyes and sits.

Angela sneaks in through the sliding door in the kitchen and smiles.
"Hey Mrs and Mr Bradford" she smirks sitting near them on their kitchen counter.
"Hey Angela" Lucy responds, Tim just grunts in response.
"What's  climbed up his ass?" Angela asks and Lucy shrugs.

"They are playing spin the bottle. Tim doesn't approve" Lucy sighs.
"Oh come on Tim. After your 14TH birthday this is nothing compared to that." Angela chuckles and shakes her head and Lucy frowns and looks at Tim.
"She's allowed to know and I'm not?" Lucy asks raising a brow.
"I'll tell you later." He grumbles moving towards the door so he can see what they are doing, the teenagers couldn't see Tim but he could see them.

They played a few rounds of spin the bottle until it was Jacks turn, he spins the bottle and it landed on Avalynn.
"Oooo Jack and Avalynnn!" Everyone claps.
"yeah hard pass." Avalynn shakes her head.
"Oh don't be a chicken, Kiss! Kiss! Kiss" one of her friends laugh and chant, and Avalynn rolls her eyes, it's just a game right? She thought and stands up and grabs Jacks hand and pulls him to his feet.
"Do not ever call me a chicken" she snaps to one of her friends and pulls Jack in for a kiss. Everyone cheers, surprisingly including Arlo.

The three adults see Jack and Avalynn kissing, Angela celebrates because she's been planning Jacks and Avalynns marriage ever since Tim got custody of them.
However Tim on the other hand, Angela and Lucy and to pull him back and restrain him from barging in.
"You are absolutely not going in there Tim, it's part of growing up okay..you have to let your babies grow up at some point. They aren't little forever." Lucy says softly.
"okay I won't go in. But at-least get off me" he begs, now feeling abit upset and sad his babies have grown up, Angela and Lucy let go of him and he goes to sit down.

"I've been waiting for this moment my whole ass life" Angela cheers sitting next to Tim.
"What moment?" Tim frowns.
"Well you know, ever since we because best friends I wanted our kids to marry..and especially now. I've been planning Jacks and Avalynns marriage since they got close in preschool." Angela admits and Tim looks at her in horror, but Lucy just laughs.

"Yeah. They are absolutely not getting married." Tim grumbles.
"Yes they will. I bet all Wesley's trust fund they get married, that means Avalynn will become a Lopez-Evers." Angela smirks and Tim pales at the idea.

The party was over, Arlo decided to walk jack home as Angela left an hour before the party ended.
Avalynn was tidying up some mess from the living room and looking at all her gifts.

"Go speak to her Tim," Lucy says to Tim while they were in the kitchen.
Tim runs his hand through his hair and nods and walks into the living room:

"did you have a fun party?" Tim asks his daughter helping her pick up trash.
"Yeah, I know you seen me and Jack kiss. You're not upset are you?" She asks avoiding eye contact with her father.
"Of course not sweetie. It's part of growing up. You experiment and try new things.." he says and Avalynn nods.

"You seem upset" she states and Tim shakes his head.
"I'm upset because I didn't realise how quick you and your brother has grown up. It feels like yesterday I was in court fighting for you two to be in my care..I just didn't realise how quick time flies" he says softly and Avalynn smiles and pulls her dad in for a hug.

"you've done an amazing job on us dad. Don't ever think different okay? I'm grateful that you've been there for us..unlike mom..well Ashley. I'm not calling her mom, Lucy's our mom..but Ashley  who's been dipping in and out of our lives since she's got out of jail..I just need you to know that me and Arlo aren't little babies anymore you need to let us grow up and find our selves" Avalynn says softly to her dad, Tim's eyes well up.

"I love you sweetie. So much okay. I really needed to hear that. All three of yous, Aidan you and Arlo are brilliant kids. And you three will forever be my babies no matter how old you are okay?" He chuckles with watery eyes.
"Okay fine. I love you too dad" she says pulling him in for another hug.
"Also please don't marry Jack in the future I want Wesley's trust fund" he whispers into Avalynns ear and she frowns at him confused but laughs.
"Let me guess you guys placed a bet?" She asks and Tim nods wiping his eyes.
"okay. I won't marry him only if you give me half of it" she laughs and Tim shakes his head.
"Absolutely not young lady" he replies with a chuckle.
