"Honey can you bring Arlo his homework and school bag, he just keeps leaving all his stuff around whereever he pleases" Tim asks Avalynn handing her a pile of Arlos things, while he was tidying the living room. Aidan and Lucy went grocery shopping so it was just Arlo and Avalynn and Tim in the Bradford home.

"Shouldn't he just come and grab them himself." She asks.
"He should, but you've seen how moody he's been lately. Probably easier to just deliver it to him" Tim says and Avalynn nods.
"Tell him to also complete his homework, he needs to hand it in so he doesn't get once another detention." Tim also tells her.
"Okay dad" she shouts back.

She makes it up the stairs and knocks on Arlos door, he doesn't answer  she assumes he's probably on a game or something so she walks in and immediately horrified from the scene in-front of her. It was a topless Arlo making out with one of Avalynns friends, however Avalynn didn't realise who it was.

She drops his stuff on the floor and covers her eyes
"My eyes! I need bleach. I need to bleach my eyes" she shouts.

Arlo immediately pulls away from the girl and gets up and shuts the door and stands infront of his twin sister.
"You cannot tell dad!"he snaps and Avalynn shakes her head.
"tell him what. That you were about to sleep with...oh my god no way. Grace. YOU WERE GOING TO SLEEP WITH MY BEST FRIEND!"Avalynn snaps punching her brother across the face.

"Ow!! Shut it Ava, dad will hear!" Arlo snaps rubbing his cheek.
"How- how did she even get in here?" Avalynn asks and then sees the window wide open and she shakes her head and glares at her best friend grace.
"Do not ever fucking speak to me again!" She snaps.
"Avalynn.."grace begs and Ava shakes her head.
"come on Avalynn. We are 16. Just because you can't find your self a boyfriend doesn't mean you have to be an ass with me" Arlo says in her face.

"Is that what you think this is about? Because I can easily date anyone I want. But I am not a whore like you!" She scoffs.
"I am not a whore Avalynn." He shakes his head.

"yeah- I'm going to go" Grace whispers and collects her stuff and climbs out the window.
Arlo sighs and puts his shirt back on and looks at Avalynn.

"you can't tell dad or mom." Arlo scoffs and Avalynns eyes become watery.
"seriously? Is that all you care about. You nearly slept with my best friend! All you think about is your self.!!" Avalynn snaps.

"you've kissed Jack before and I didn't stop it! Just leave" Arlo snaps.
"Yeah I kissed Jack on our 14TH birthday party during spin the bottle. It was a game Arlo. Grow the fuck up seriously."
"was there a reason why you came in" He asks his twin sister and Avalynn points to his stuff on the floor.
"Dad wanted me to give you them. Don't speak to me ever again."She says dryly before leaving.

She goes back down stairs, Aidan and Lucy were now home.
"hey sweetie." Lucy smiles at Avalynn and she just smiles in return.
"is everything okay? I heard shouting between you and Arlo. I couldn't hear what about." Tim asks his daughter walking back into the living room after putting the groceries that Aidan and Lucy bought away.
"Oh you know. Moody stroppy Aidan didn't want to do his homework." Avalynn scoffs lying for her brother.

"Gosh what is going on with him. He's been so weird lately" Tim comments.
"Probably mom, I mean Ashley. Sorry I really need to stop calling her mom. As she's been bouncing in and out of our life's since she got out of prison." Ava shrugs.
"Have you guys heard from her since last time?" Tim asks and Avalynn shakes her head.

"I haven't, but I'm not sure if Arlo has. Before you gained custody when we were little he was always a mommy's boy even though we didn't get treat well." Avalynn shrugs.
"give him time, he's 16, he's a hormonal teenager." Lucy says and Avalynn scoffs
"Hormonal in deed" she whispers.

"What was that?" Tim asks and Avalynn shakes her head.
"Nothing. I'm going for a walk to clear my head." She says and leaves before anyone else could say anything.

Arlo comes down stairs soon after his sister left.
"Arlo would you play football with me?" 11 year old  Aidan asks his older brother.
"maybe later bud" Arlo responds and looks at his dad and mom.
"Where's Avalynn gone?" He asks and the two shrug
"She said she needed to clear her head about something so she's gone for a walk" Lucy tells Arlo and he nods.

"So what's for dinner?" He asks.
"How does a roast sound?" Lucy asks and Arlo shrugs
"Sounds good to me" he smiles.

The Bradford family ate together, however Arlo and Avalynn were both not speaking to another which concerned the adults. They needed to get to the bottom of what happened upstairs.

"Aidan buddy why don't you go wash up and have abit of time on your iPad upstairs?" Lucy asks Aidan who nods and happily runs off.
"What on earth is going on with you two. You two are usually partners in crime but now you guys are being off with eachother" Tim states.

Arlo glares at Avalynn to not say anything.
"nothing has happened, right Avalynn?" Arlo asks and Avalynn couldn't even look at  him, " maybe teach your son that it's wrong to nearly sleep with your twin sisters  best friend." Avalynn scoffs and leaves the table.
"AVALYNN!"arlo shouts angrily.

"Okay. Wow. Was not expecting that" Tim looks at Lucy wide eyed.
"buddy..come on now you know better than that." Lucy sighs.
"look I'm sorry okay. We didnt do anything I promise." Arlo says awkwardly.

"that's not the point bud. You can't do that to your sister, it's not great. You're going to have to shut it off between you and Grace." Tim replies awkwardly.
"sorry." He replies embarrassed.
"also buddy. I know you're growing up and you are going to experiment..but before you take the next step with people you have to make sure you're ready. So speak to me..if you need anything..and please use protection." Tim pleads and Arlo turns red.

"uhh ew ew..okay. Conversation is over." Arlo scoffs.
"Go apologise to your sister:" Lucy says and Arlo nods and excuses him self to find his sister sat on the garden steps.

He sits next to her.
"I'm sorry." He grumbles.
"That's a first:" she scoffs.
"Avalynn come on!! I wouldn't be mad if you did that with Jack." He sighs.
"You wouldn't know until it actually happens! It feels awful, especially the fact non of you told me. I feel like you both have turned on me. It's selfish Arlo, you're selfish. Why my bestfriend?" She asks and Arlo sighs.
"I'm sorry." He says again.
"I'm sorry for telling mom and dad." Avalynn apologised too.

"it's fine, your mad it's understandable." He replies.
"I still need bleach for my eyes" she chuckles.
"So we're good?" He asks and Avalynn nods.
"We are" she says pulling her twin brother in for a hug.
