"Today is either going to be the best or worst day of my life."

Lando blurted in the middle of a photoshoot I was doing with him and Oscar. "Oh?" I questioned, continuing to take pictures of the two as they changed poses.

We were on Mclaren's balcony overlooking pitlane taking all of the different photos Charlotte requested today via a poorly handwritten note delivered by Adeline. Sometimes, I wish I wasn't so micromanaged.

"Yeah, I just have this feeling." He gestured with his hands, "Like for instance, I DNFed yesterday, what if I DNF today? Or maybe today's the day I finally win?"

Oscar hummed, patting Lando's shoulder, "I don't think you'll DNF again, that's for sure."

"Yet, you make no comment about me talking about winning."

"C'mon, Mate, don't say it like that." Oscar groans. "Anything could happen, okay?"

Lando's gaze shot to me, "What do you think?"

My eyes went wide and I brought the camera down from my eye. I shook my head and took a few steps back.

"Nuh uh, don't drag me into this conversation."

Oscar laughed while Lando pouted. Then, before anything else could be said or done, someone showed up at the doors to the balcony telling us that the boys needed to get ready for the driver's parade.

I watched as they left, I had time before the race to get my life together. But I couldn't help but think about what Lando had been talking about. I don't think he'll DNF, he usually doesn't do that.

But what if he won?

What if, finally, on his 110th start, Lando finished 1st? What if today was the day that his dream of winning of Formula 1 race came true? Could Miami be where Lando got his maiden win?

I was pulled from my thoughts when I heard my name being called. I walked over to the railing of the balcony, looking down into the pitlane below. Not only were Oscar and Lando waving to me, but so were Max, Charles, and Carlos. I smiled brightly down at them waving back to the five and blowing them all kisses. They all smiled back at me, Lando even playfully 'catching' the kiss that I blew.

Today is going to be a great day, I can feel it.

And I was right.

Because just a few hours later I'm running to the fencing that barricades the track and climbing up on it with the mechanics. Lando's been in the lead since lap 29 and he's still in the lead and it's lap 57. He's going to fucking win.

My heart is practically beating out of my chest and tears are streaming down my face as I watch the papaya-colored car speed across the start/finish line. The crowd goes wild, our team goes wild, and I might pass out from the excitement.

All of the mechanics jump down from the barricade and I follow, we want to get back to Parc Fermé before he does. We want to be ready to receive him. Laughter is pouring out of my mouth uncontrollably as the tears still fall. I'm so proud of him. Like holy shit.

I don't think I've ever smiled this wide.

I maneuver to my spot inside of the barriers, being lucky enough to be allowed this close. My heart clenches out of pride and excitement as I watch Lando pull his car into the spot behind the '1' placard. He's finally done it.

No more Lando "NoWins".

He jumps out of his car, throwing his hands up in excitement before hopping down and all but sprinting over to the team. When he's a few feet away, he jumps. The team of mechanics holds on to him, hugging him and patting him, all of them in tears. Then they flip him over and start tossing him.
