"Shouldn't you still be wearing the brace?"

Lando's voice filled my ears as we left his apartment building in Monaco. I spun around, now walking backward out of the building in front of him.

"He said that I could take it off for a few hours at a time if I was careful." I shrugged, allowing my back to push open the front doors and let me onto the sidewalk.

The curly-haired Brit chuckled and raised an eyebrow, "And you think you'll be careful at a club?"

"I'll try my best." I smirked at him, walking the way to where his car was parked. "That's what I told my doctor when he took the cast off right before Belgium anyway."

"I don't trust you."

We both laughed as we walked the rest of the way to one of his many cars. Lando and I had flown back with Max to Monaco. Our Portugal trip wasn't for a few more days and I missed Monaco, so the free flight to the principality was too good to give up. It gave me a few days in one of my favorite places before I flew back to London until my flight to meet Lando in Portugal for summer break.

When Lando had mentioned coming back to Monaco with him for a few days, initially, I had thought it was silly. I'd only be able to stay for at most 2 days before leaving again, but he managed to convince me rather easily. I was promised a night out and a ride on Charles' yacht – I'm not sure if he knew about that yet, though.

"Please don't go too crazy tonight." Lando begged after the short drive to the club, handing his keys over to the valet.

I shook my head, "I make no promises."

He groaned as we walked in side by side. I'm sure, by now, that Lando knows that I'm a lot to deal with.

At least I hope he does.

Lando held his hand out for me to take, wanting to make it easier to navigate through the club and toward the VIP area. I put my hand in his and had to restrain myself from pulling back quickly. I forgot how much his touch effects me.

I'm way too sober to be having physical contact with this man.

"Jonesy!" I look up to see Heidi, both Lilys, and Alex waving excitedly at me.

I scream from excitement and let go of Lando's hand, nearly running over to the four of them. I was hoping that they'd make it out tonight. I didn't even know the majority of them would be in Monaco already.

When I reached the group, I threw myself into Heidi's arms first, going around and hugging each of them tightly.

"We didn't know you were going to be in Monaco?" Lily Z. smiled, hugging me once more.

I smiled in return, "I didn't know until yesterday, we flew back with Max."

"Oh." Lily He frowned. "You doing ok?"

She was referring to having to be near Kelly for an extended amount of time. The four girls in front of me knew my issues with Max's girlfriend, seeing as they were there for the majority of the interactions.

"Peachy." I laughed, "She ignored me for most of the flight and when she tried talking to me, Lando interrupted." We all burst into a small fit of laughter.

Our conversation continued and my mood lifted even higher – if that was even possible. At some point, I don't remember when, I realized that I was still very much sober and that the four girls I was with all had drinks in their hands. I was about to excuse myself to go get a drink when someone grabbed my hand and slid a glass into it.
