"And you promise you're fine meeting new people today?"

Lando asked for what felt like the fifth time since he picked me up from my apartment. I chuckled, reaching over the center console and squeezing his forearm for reassurance.

"Yes, Lan, I promise I'll be fine." I leaned my head back on the headrest, dropping both of my hands in my lap, "You sent me pictures of everyone I could possibly meet today and you gave me brief descriptions of all of their personalities. I don't think I could be anything other than fine."

He didn't speak for a second and when I looked over to figure out why, his cheeks were dusted pink. "Don't tell anyone I did that."

"I'm definitely telling everyone," I smirked, turning my whole body toward him. "Imagine it, 'Hey, everyone! Lando sent me your headshots and resumes so I'd be prepared to meet you today.' Like how hilarious would that be?"

His lips turned into a pout, "You wouldn't."

"I might." I shrugged.

We pulled into the car park a few minutes later. Apparently, today they were going to be doing a photoshoot for their next clothing drop. I've looked into Quadrant's clothing lines and I'm quite obsessed. I even considered ordering myself some of the items, but the majority was sold out.

However, my wish came true when Lando showed up at my apartment with a bag full of merch this morning. He'd brought me quite a few options, saying he not only wanted me to have some of his brand but because I was tagging along to a Quadrant shoot where everyone would be wearing the new items, him included, he didn't want me to feel left out.

I gleefully accepted his gift and hurried to go change. I settled on a pair of joggers, one of the new baby tees, and a crewneck. I was going for ultimate comfort. Lando's outfit was similar, but he switched out the baby tee for a regular shirt. We probably looked like we were trying too hard to coordinate our outfits.

"Lando!" A female voice greeted us as we made it to the grassy area where Lando said the photoshoot was happening.

I nearly pulled out my phone to try and match her face to a picture, but I quickly identified her as Ria. Lando's mentioned her a few times.

He greeted her with a hug and they both looked so happy to see each other. Ria spotted me during their hug, seeing as I was hidden behind Lando as she walked up. Her eyes widened and she nearly pushed Lando away to get to me. I giggled as he stumbled, looking bothered that he had gotten shoved.

"You must be Jonesy!" She squealed, rushing over to hug me too. "Lando and Max have spoken so highly of you."

I raised my eyebrows at Lando as I watched him over Ria's shoulder. He simply held his hands up in surrender and started walking over to the crowd.

"Did he prepare you for today?" She questioned as we separated, her arm linking with mine as she led me in the direction Lando had gone.

I smirked, thinking about the text conversation I had with Lando last night. "Yeah, he prepared me. Told me about everyone."

"Good! He wasn't a total boy."

He should be glad I didn't tell Ria about the pictures and descriptions because I don't think she'd ever let him live it down. We joined the rest of the group a few seconds later and Ria introduced me to everyone, thankfully they all looked identical to the pictures Lando had sent me, so I was able to easily remember who was who.

Everyone seemed to know so much about me already. I wonder just how much Max and Lando have talked about me?

There was a photographer off to the side, setting up, apparently someone they use to take photos quite often. I found myself intrigued by their setup. It looked so fancy.
