Supernatural Yanderes are after me?! But I'm Just A Nobody!

Read some stories by Darksoulz and wanted to try writing in their style. Tell me if it's weird, plz. I just kinda like his writing style; it's a bit confusing sometimes, but it feels nice.

《Henry Doil》

(Reminder since it's been a minute. He appeared at the end of chapter 6, and was the call Nico made in chapter 11.)

"Finally back in town." I stated, stretching in my seat.

The old man next to me, Frank, asks with a yawn, "Why exactly is this place our first stop?"

"Nico said a bunch of vamps somehow managed to worm their way into town. Most of them, if not all, are here."

Taking off his sunglasses and rubbing his eyes, "I know a lot of vampires look young, but why go through the hassle of getting themselves enrolled at a school?"

"I don't know. We'll get the details when we meet up with Nico."

He rest his arm on the car door and holds his chin in his hand.

"Are we just supposed wait here? Why not at his place? Yours? Or even mine. Anywhere with a bed, honestly."

"Because" Grabbing ahold of my glasses and enchanting it with a spell, "We need to keep watch."

With my glasses now enchanted, I could see through objects and focus on a person's life force. Every living thing has one, obviously; but supernaturals have a very distinct life force. Normal humans who haven't awakened to mana look very different from supernaturals whose very identity is closely connected to mana.

"See anything?" His voice tired, almost as if he might fall asleep at a moments notice.

Scanning through the school, I see multiple life forces different from that of a normal human. Not all of them are vampires, though the school is still filled with quite a bit of them. I can see three werewolves, and... a cursed human? No, two of them. But the curses are different.

"Yeah. We'll have to deal with more than just blood-suckers, unfortunately." I moved my gaze around to check if there's anything else. I take note of the two cursed humans and of a wolf and human alone together at the side of the school. There's also.... "Shit!"

The sudden spike in my voice jolts Frank awake.

"What?! What'd you see?!"

Turning to him, "A wolf is chasing a human!"

His expression changes and becomes calm. Leaving the car, he turns to me.

"Where?"

"Behind the school! It's chasing them into the forest!"

Pointing to the back of the car with a nod, "Wake her up and have her follow after me."

He shuts the car door and takes off to the back of the school. Listening to him, I turn to the back and hang over my seat, shaking her awake.

"Cecilia! Hey, wake up!"

She groans and sits up.

Yawning, "What's up?"

"Trouble. Now. We gotta go."

Furrowing her brow, "What's going on? Is it Nico? Is he in trouble?!"

I doubt Nico would be running from a werewolf. It'd probably be the other way around.

I shook my head, "Probably not, but someone is in trouble. Behind the school."

Nodding, she leaves the car. I follow after and stand behind her. Placing a hand on her back, I cast a spell to boost her physical abilities. She then turns to me.
