Leandra Moreno
I can't believe I fucking slept with Zade De Luca last night. Of all people, it had to be him. I blame it on the champagne from last night. If I was in the right state of mind none of th-
Oh, shut up. You know you wanted it.
The early morning sun was spilling through the curtains, and coincidentally right on my eye. I groaned, grabbing the blanket up and turned, that was until my hand hit something hard in the face.
A soft but low growl comes from beside me and I realize I'm still pressed around Zade, his arm lazily on my waist. Of all people..
"Go close the curtain properly, it's taking away from my beauty sleep." I murmured, drowning my face into the sheets to escape from the light.
"It's a silver of light, Moreno" He responded, his tired, raspy voice sending jolts of electricity down to my core.
When I don't say anything, I hear movements beside me and suddenly Zade gets up, the absence of his body warmth hits immediately, and I drag the entire blanket over to me, trying to stay warm.
"You know, Moreno," He says, his voice deep and groggy, "You sleep awfully deep for someone who claims to be raised in the Order of Assasins."
"Unless you want me to prove to you where I'm from, you better close that curtain. Now."
I hear him mutter something under his breath before he closes the curtain, bringing the room back to darkness before getting back into the bed beside me, gripping my waist and pulling me closer.
Damn him.
"Now, you can get your beauty sleep, tesoro." He whispers against my ear, the soft touch of his lips are overwhelming.
It's like 5 in the morning, I can't do this.
Instead of putting up a fight, I let the exhaustion cling to me and my body gave in and sleep dragged me.
Just 5 more minutes.

When I woke up again, Zade's side of the bed was cold and the smell of faint cigarette smoke filled the air. I blinked blankly at the empty space beside me, a soft growl of frusturation slipping through my lips.
Of course he's gone.
I looked around, taking in my surroundings until I spot him at the balcony. He leaned against the railing, shirtless with a cigarette hanging loosely between his fingers as he gazed into the city.
The anger from last night bubbled up again, except more bitter in the light of day. I, Leandra Moreno gave into Zade. Zade De Luca, out of hate...of course.
I swung my legs over the edge of the bed and I regretted that..instantly. A sharp, biting ache shot up my thighs and before I could steady myself, my legs buckled and I collapsed back onto the matress with an angry groan.
I could feel Zade's eyes on me now. Great.
"Trouble standing, Fiamma?" he called out, his tone dripping with smug amusement as he took another drag from his cigarette.
I ignored the nickname and clenched my jaw, glaring at him from the bed. "Shut up." I snapped, my voice sharp. The weakness in my legs was humiliating enough and I didn't need him smirking on that stupid perfect face of his like he'd...won something.
He chuckled, flicking ash from his cigarette with a lazy smirk. "Guess I wore you out."
My anger flared at those words.
