"You really have exaggerated yourself, [L/N]"

"I know"

"It's quite admirable that you held yourself against him for more than two minutes"

"I know"

Recovery Girl had healed all your wounds (against your will) as far as possible and even scolded you for not letting her examine the burn on your right arm earlier, the giant scar visible to anyone who would even glance at your arm.

The infirmary of the school looked the same as the last time you entered it. Which was one month ago.

Bakugo was still unconscious, lying on the bed left to yours.

Even the doctor was clueless about why you hadn't been out cold earlier due to all the punches and wounds you endured, and adding to it, the energy the doctor's quirk took from you.

Izuku was still conscious as he lay on the bed right to yours, listening to how Recovery Girl started to scold All Might for not having any restraint against kids and that they could've gotten lasting damages.

But, being the observant Izuku was, he still wanted to watch the other exams.

Which led to him leaving the room.

"Young [L/N], it was reckless of you to risk your life for an exam!"

"Weren't you the one that was giving it his all and made us pass our limits, old man? If I would've passed out, it would've gotten serious because of my quirk. It was the only move that wouldn't have murdered you..."

"Murdering me? Haha, it's not that easy to kill me!"

"If you think so"

Moving on to another topic, he returned to his thin form.

"There are still many things that we aren't aware of your quirk. What has that been?"

"My special move"

"And how does that work?"

"I'm not someone to spill my secrets but I guess this is less serious", you cleared your throat before you began.

"If my spikes take enough blood from me, they can form into a moving creature that has the will of mine. It's under my command and surpasses the obstacles of the human body, which is why it could bother you for some minutes. If I get knocked out it will fall apart in a matter of moments"

His eyes creased into a thinking expression as he listened, some of his questions about you being solved as his mind came to a conclusion, his facial muscles tensing even more.

"Do all your special moves contain such self-sacrificial side effects?"

"You're smart for an old man"

"Young [L/N], this isn't something to joke about", emphasized he, his brows creasing at your lack of self-care. His worry was growing with every visit you paid to any health-like institute. You were extraordinary, conducting the mission like an actor on the swinging pendulum of life. He found himself confused with the lingering question of your odd traits, listening to one of them, the constant absence of positive hints in your voice.

"I'm not. Have you seen me perform any of those daily?"

"You still should take care of yourself. Have you eaten today?"

He saw the answer coming before his ears had the time to lead the information to his brain.

"Nothing has changed since the last time you'd seen me"

Sighing, he folded his hands. The shift in the air was palpable when he spoke up again.

"It doesn't look like exhaustion. What has caused your sudden change in health, Young [L/N]?"
