"Was talking to me a dare or something?"
"No I've just seen you around and I needed to know you." She scoffed at what I said but I ignored it.
"I want to go home." She said looking out the window still, refusing to look at me. "No you can later then I'll pick you up tomorrow then hopefully we can actually go to school." She finally looked at me with an eyebrow raised. "You? Wanting to go to school? Wow!" She breathed. "For starters I do hate school and don't mind skipping from time to time but I do care about my grades just the grades so I can keep playing basketball though." I chuckled. My main priority is basketball and music. "Don't you take music class to? I think yours is third period right? I thought I seen you enter it after I excited second period that's when I'm in it." I nodded pulling in my driveway finally. "Yeah music is other thing I love besides basketball." She smiled for first time today. "I guess your not so bad after all Mahone." She giggled. "Thanks Cooper."
