Alex's POV

"I'm gonna go get us some food from downstairs ok?" Zia nodded and snuggled my blanket.

"Can you turn the heat up to?" I chuckled and nodded.

"Yes I can."

I walked downstairs pulling up my shorts walking towards the kitchen.

Ding

I groaned and walked towards the door.

"Hello?" I asked nicely opening the door.

"Hey." I saw it was Austin and rolled my eyes.

"You still mad?" I laughed bitterly.

"No, I don't want Zia ruining our friendship I just...over reacted."

"Ok well I'm busy bye."

"Busy with what?" He scoffed.

"Fixing me and Zia food." His eyes widened and he growled.

"Alex!"

"Get over it she lives here now."

"How did that work out with your mom?!"

"She doesn't know and I don't give a damn on what she has to say."

"Why does she live here exactly?"

"I dropped her off and as soon as she opened the door she was pulled in I heard her scream and me and Robert walked in and her dad had slapped her. I got beat up my ribs hurt like hell."

"Well..."

"Well what?"

"I have to go, don't try anything."

"Whatever."

I shut the door and walked back to the kitchen.

I'll make us some pizza.

I opened my freezer grabbing the pizza.

"Alex who was that girl?"

"A friend." I replied putting our pizza in the oven.

"Just a friend or a girlfriend?" She asked sternly.

"Just a friend." I said rolling my eyes.

"Is she staying here?" She asked crossing her arms.

"Yeah, for awhile."

"For awhile?! When did you get my permission?"

"Never and I'm not going to." I walked past her going back upstairs.

"Alex Ruben Constancio!" I heard her yell but I ignored her and turned the heat up.

"I turned the heat up and don't say anything to my mom please." She nodded eyes looking heavy.

"Hey Zi go on to sleep. I have some shorts you can wear and a shirt, you can ear my boxers as shorts if you want?"

(I've seen girls on Pinterest and Tumblr wearing guys boxers as shorts.)

"Hm, just shorts and a shirt." She replied half asleep.

"Ok."

I went to my drawer and grabbed a shirt and some shorts.

"Here I'll leave the room." She nodded getting up taking the clothes.

"Oh don't worry about school I'm going to get you an online school so you don't have to worry about your parents showing up."

"Sounds good."
