Chapter Thirty-Six

Austin's POV

"Alex! It's Zia she was screaming and crying I need you here quick! I thought you could calm her down but she blacked out-just hurry!" I threw my phone down returning to Zia and shook her.

"C'mon Zi come on wake up!"I cried.

"Austin she'll wake up lets just take her to the hospital just in case." Alex yelled running in.

"Make her better please!" I yelled at the doctor.

"We can only do so much Mr. Mahone."

"Just please don't call any family members." Alex begged.

"Why not?" The doctor asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Her family doesn't want anything to do with her doc I came into the house and saw her dad slap her right when I stepped in I've left her house millions of times and heard screams." Alex lied.

"Ok sir, but why didn't you check on her?"

"I was scared honestly I didn't know what exactly to do but last time I heard her scream I went into her house and dad had slapped her and called her mean names that's why she's with us."

"How long have you known her?"

"Few days now." Alex mumbled.

"And you've been to her house that much?"

"Yeah we have hung out a lot lately." I butted in shrugging.

"Ok we won't contact family but we have to contact the police with this situation."

Our faces dropped.

"If we did that doc Zia would kill us all we've tried to convince her to let us."

"Boys I'm sorry but we have to."

"We understand sir." I said.

"Ok their running tests on her now to see what excatly happened and we'll look into some of back story."

Zi just wake up that's all I need.
