Chapter 2- knowing everyone

*Calista's POV*

Natsume pressed his blade to my neck and asked me "how did you know who I was?" His eyes glared at me viciously. "I-in a game!" He looked at me strangely and soon I was pushed against the wall. "A game...? What do you know about me exactly?" I looked down and then said

"pretty much... Everything... About you and the vigilantes. What your night job is and your day job-" he cut me off. "You sound like a stalker but... Really. How do you know all this?"

"I told you already! From a game! Nothing more!" He stayed silent and then put away his blade. He grabbed my arm and pulled me down the street. "Where are we going? Are you taking me to kinshiro?" He slowed down when he heard that then sped up again.

Soon, we arrived at what I believe was Kyokatei. He let go of my arm and opened the door. "Ah Natsume, your back. Everything went well I assume?"

Kinshiro asked and Natsume looked at me, who wasn't seen by anyone else and then shoved me inside the room. H-he could have asked me to walk in... Kinshiro along with Sion, Aoi, and Soji all stared at me wide eyed. "You were seen by this woman, Natsume?" Aoi asked and Natsume said "a little..."

Sion smiled and said "she's so cute!" Soji sighed "Don't get distracted..." Natsume sits down and so do I. Natsume begins to speak "she knows too much so I brought her back with me."
"What did you tell her?" Kinshiro asks. "Nothing, I didn't tell her anything! She called out my name when I was about to leave."

Kinshiro turned to me and before he could ask anything, the rest of the vigilantes walked in and all sat down. They noticed me and Wakasa said "is this Natsume's girlfriend?"
"I don't have a girlfriend!" Natsume argued and blushed. Hotaka said "I'll have her! She's adoreable!"

Kinshiro cleared his voice and the room went silent again. He asked me "so, can you tell us everything you know?" I nodded.

"Where do I start... Soji likes working but doesn't like evil. His hobby is caring for swords. His skill is sword fighting. Soji is a constable. Ichika follows him around as a detective. Soji is not very sociable but is very kind to everyone around him. He's cool, calm, and is a little shy at times." I said finished talking about Soji.

"Aoi likes beautiful hair and dislikes aggressive women. His hobby is doing people's hair. Even from the red light district. His skill is making hairpins. Aoi seems frivolous at first but has a sharp tongue and shows his kindness." Everyone seems pretty surprised that I know this stuff.

"Sion likes cute items and dislikes conflict. His hobby is walking around town. His skill is a cheesy smile. Sion is a second son of a rich merchant who owns Iseya. Sion seems sleek and laid-back but ninja skills are amazing. He carries out missions with a smile but suffers a distressing experience." Everyone leans in closer as they heard that.

"Uh... Wakasa likes the study of medicine and dislikes something beyond him. Wakasa's hobby is examining ingredients of medicines. His skill is compounding medicines. Wakasa is stated a town doctor, who townsfolk completely trust. He usually has a smile on his face." I looked around and then spotted Natsume.

"Natsume likes books, and dislikes women. His hobby is writing books. His skill is speed reading. Natsume is a rental bookshop owner who always has a serious face and is often very blunt. He may seem cold because he is shy and hates women but has a kindness hidden underneath." Hotaka said "do me next!"

"Right, Hotaka likes pretty girls and dislikes rugged men. His hobby is hugging people. As for his skill, dancing. Hotaka is a popular kabuki actor. He likes to dress in women's clothes. He behaves like a woman and people have a hard time thinking he is straight." Hotaka slouched.

"Last but not least, Kinshiro likes Edo town and dislikes unjustified matters. His hobby is collecting smoking pipes. His skill is mind reading. Kinshiro is leader of vigilantes by night and Magistrate of the south ward during the day. Everyone excluding Kinshiro is a ninja."

The room grew silent. I spoke up again, "I would tell you what I know about Ichika but I have a feeling he isn't apart of the vigilantes right now." Soji said "Ichika isn't in the vigilantes and never has been. Why did you say that he isn't 'right now'?"

"He was before, and he could actually become one in due time. As long as he doesn't see you guys in the shadows on a job, you should be fine."

Kinshiro stared at me intently and them said

"She could be of good use to the vigilantes."
