Chapter 21- Ending: Soji

*Soji's POV*

I ran into a wear house where I heard multiple gunshots and then a scream.

That voice... It has to be Calista's! I rushed towards the scream at full speed.

*Calista's POV*

I cried out and held my leg in pain. I looked at Willem with tears in my eyes but still rejectingly. I looked back down at my leg and released my hand slowly. The bullet pierced the back of my leg and it dripped blood, all down my leg.

The pain coursing through my leg made it impossible to move. Willem laughed chaotically and put away his gun. "Now, you can't run! I'll do anything to make you stay with me!"

I used my arms to back away from him. "Y-your crazy! Like hell I would want to stay with you! Ah!" I said and accidentally moved my leg.

I began to cry and I whispered a call for the love of my life.

"So... Ji... Help... Me..."

Then I heard a couple bangs at the door and then a smashing sound. I looked towards the door and saw Soji looking angered.

"Soji! Ah!" Once again forgetting about my leg. I stepped on it and fell back down to the floor in pain.

Soji looked at Willem and asked "your Willem, I presume? What do you think your doing with Calista!?" He yelled at him. I never seen him look so furious.

"That's right, what might your name be?"
"My name doesn't matter. All that matters right now, is getting Calista back."
"I'm afraid she isn't going anywhere." Willem declared as he pulled out his gun.

Soji! I clenched my eyes shut as I heard a gun shot resound the room. I began to shake in fear. I opened my eyes slowly, bracing myself and Soji had moved out of the way. Soji then made a run at Willem.

I have to help Soji! As the two of them were fighting I kicked at Willem's feet, tripping him. Again, kicking with the wrong leg.

I screamed in pain again and Willem got back on his feet and pointed his gun towards me again.

Soji made his move and moved his sword by his neck. Willem smirked, in a flash he was gone.

I looked down at my leg and grimaced. "Calista!" Soji ran up to me and hugged me tightly. "Soji..."

"You scared me, you suddenly went missing. Everyone is looking for you."
"They are...?"
"You frightened me the most though. I don't know what I would do without you." He said and turned bright red.

"You don't know... What you would do...?" I asked confused. "Calista... I love you." My eyes widened and my heart was full of joy.

Tears spilled from my eyes from both pain and happiness. "I love you too... Soji...!" I said and felt my body getting weaker. I was falling forwards and Soji caught me.

"Calista!? Are you okay!?"
"Yeah..."
"Heh... You really are strong, aren't you?" He said touching my cheek and lifting up my face.

I closed my eyes and I felt our lips brush. My consciousness drifted and I left my strength leave me. I heard Soji call out my name. "Calista...!"

I know it's close but...

It's seems so far.

I opened my eyes looking at the hospital's ceiling. I looked over to see Soji, with his face in his hands.

"Soji....?" I called out to him weakly and he snapped his head up. "Calista! I'm so glad your alright!" He said and hugged my body tightly. I smiled and pet his head.

I looked over at a counter close by and noticed a tray. "What's that?" I asked and he looked up.

"A bullet that was stuck in your leg. The bullet only went half way through so Wakasa had to get it out."
"Ah... So that's why it hurt so much. I mean, it would hurt without it too but, that was unbearable."

Wakasa came back and he bandaged up my leg and let us leave.

Days passed by and I got my bandage taken off. One day I was sweeping outside of Iseya and someone came up behind me and hugged me.

"Wah!?" Startled I turned around to see Soji smiling calmly at me. He kissed me on the cheek

"Calista?"
"Good morning Soji. What's up?"
"I want you to move in with me."

I was so happy and I nodded. Many things happens later but that's another story.

Even though I ended up not going back home, I don't care.

Many more people care for me here than back there.
