Chapter 13- Kinshiro

*Calista's POV*

I was just walking out of Iseya when Hotaka calls out to me. "Where are you off to?"
"Oh, I was on my way to go see Kin. I haven't seen him in a while so I wanted to go talk with him for a bit. I'll be back in a bit." I waved 'goodbye' and left Iseya. I walked down the street and thought to myself.

Tomorrow, will be a month since I showed up and was taken into the vigilantes. We haven't had much work since then but, I still enjoy my time here.

I walked upstairs to go see kin and I opened his door and when I walked in-

"Ah!?" I fell onto Kinshiro who was coming out of the room. I stumbled into his arms and we fell backwards.

Again!? I thought and Kinshiro chuckled "this happened before, hasn't it?"
"Yeah this is the second time I've ran into you... Sorry about that."
"Oh well, can't really do anything to stop it."
"I need to stop falling on people... Seems like a hobby of mine."

He laughed louder when I said that. "Hahahah! Your strange. So, how is everything? Tomorrow you will have been in the vigilantes for a month."
"I know. I'm doing great actually! Have you heard anything about Chidori lately?"

Kinshiro nodded and said "yeah, Aoi checks in with her every now and then. He checked on her yesterday. She's doing great."
"What a relieve... I was afraid he would find someone else to do the job..."
"Speaking of which, have you seen him lately?"

I looked down and shook my head. "No, not since I got my head stuck in a bucket."
"Hahah! You got your head stuck in a bucket?"
"Why did you think I was soaking wet?"
"You have a point... So, how are you feeling lately? Getting better?"
"Yeah! Much better actually! I'm not working as hard so I won't get fatigue."
"Good. Everyone was very worried, you know?"

My eyes widened and I asked "really? I didn't know."
"Everyone really adores you, Calista. They don't want to lose you. Your special to them."

I cast my eyes down with roses cheeks. "Well... I really do love hanging around everyone. I wish we could all spend more time together... I don't get to see everyone much. I get to see Sion and Hotaka everyday but, unlike you who I rarely see."

"Maybe we should plan for a vacation then? I think everyone deserves it. They seem hard at work, so I think it would be fine."
"Wow! Really!?"
"Yeah. I'm thinking, maybe a hot spring?"

I nodded excited. "This sounds like so much fun! I can't wait! When should we go?" I began to get a little more than excited. I was about to jump through the roof with excitement.

"You seem quite excited for this. Have you never went on a trip?" I shook my head. "Even if I did go once, I would have been too young to remember. I had no family to take me anywhere so I just stayed home."

Kinoshir brushed his fingers through my hair as I asked questions about traveling.

A little while later-
"So, when should we head to the hot spring? I feel like we should give everyone time to pack up and get ready for the trip."
"Yeah, I'm thinking maybe at the middle of the month. So that gives us 2 weeks to get ready. Sound good?"

I nodded happily. "I can't believe we are going on a trip! This is so exciting!" Kinshiro laughed as he heard me getting overjoyed about the trip.

"What kinds of things do you need?"
"Well, you should start off with a bathing suit and towels. Of course you need changes of clothes and shoes... Just regular things you use everyday."
"A bathing suit... I don't think I have one..."
"I'm sure Hotaka has one you can use."
"Oh, ha ha. Very funny. I will go shopping for one tomorrow."

I wrote down a checklist of things Kinshiro said I needed. I wonder how many times everyone went to the hot springs...

This is going to be so fun!
