I acted like nothing happened last night.
“Honey, you didn’t even bother to wake me up,” he said. I turned around and met his gaze. His hair was messy, and he was still in his pajamas.
“You’re tired, and I know you need some rest. Masyado mo nang inaagrabyado ang katawan mo,” I said with a smile.
“I’m mad,” he grumbled with a frown.
“Come here, I'll give you a morning kiss,” I said. I turned off the stove so that what I was cooking wouldn’t be ruined.
We kissed like there was no tomorrow. He was always like this whenever our lips met, intense and unrelenting. I couldn’t breathe, so I pulled away.
"Stop. I need to cook for us," I said, catching my breath.
He gave me a quick, playful kiss before wrapping his arms around me from behind, holding me close.
Gutom na tayo," I teased, gently prying his arms off me.
"Kaya nga ayaw kitang bitawan, para di ka na makalayo," he whispered, his breath warm against my neck. I reached for the spatula on the counter, but his grip tightened just enough to make me pause.
"Okay, okay! Let me finish this, please," I said, laughing a little. Pero sa totoo lang, gusto ko rin ang ganitong moments namin—yung tipong parang walang problema, just the two of us.
Unti-unti siyang bumitaw, pero bago pa ako tuluyang makalayo, he spun me around, pulling me in for one last kiss.
"Okay, pero huwag mo akong tagalan, ha?" he smirked, finally letting me go.
I shook my head, trying to hide my smile as I turned back to the stove, but my heart was still racing.
"Ang kulit mo talaga," I muttered under my breath, though deep down, I loved every second of it.
I could still feel the warmth of his touch lingering on my skin as I focused on cooking. The sizzling sound from the pan and the aroma of the food started to fill the kitchen, but my mind was half-distracted by the playful way Levin kissed me.
"Ano bang gagawin natin ngayon?" I heard him ask, his voice curious yet casual as he leaned against the counter, watching me. I glanced at him, his eyes studying me like I was the only thing that mattered.
"Hmm, wala pa akong plano. Bakit? May gusto ka bang gawin?" I replied while flipping the eggs in the pan, trying to act nonchalant but failing miserably because of the way he kept looking at me.
"Depende. Kung gusto mo, we can just stay here the whole day," he grinned, that mischievous smile I knew all too well. He crossed his arms, clearly amused.
"Honey—baby, 'di tayo pwedeng tamarin. Baka gusto mo naman lumabas or maglakad-lakad," I teased, but I knew deep down I wouldn’t mind spending the whole day with him here, just the two of us.
He stepped closer, his arms snaking around my waist again, making it hard for me to concentrate.
"Pwede naman din, pero mas gusto ko 'tong ganito. Just us," he murmured softly, his chin resting on my shoulder as he peeked at the food I was cooking.
