The sun is set on the blue sky, fluffy clouds dancing around the air forming different shapes and forms. The school grounds is a fairly empty with only few students on the school field, building and gate.

Marissa arrived at the front gate; her short ginger hair styled in a ponytail with bangs framing her face. She slung her bag over her shoulder and stepped confidently through the entrance, her stance proud.

"Is this how it feels to be a functioning member of society?" Marissa mused aloud, taking a deep breath.

"Talking to yourself?"

She turned to the voice behind her and met Kevin's blank expression. A mischievous grin spread across her face, her eyes sparkling with energy.

"Ha! I came earlier than you!" Marissa declared dramatically. "Who's the smart overlord now?"

"It took you three days to follow my advice," Kevin replied.

Marissa sighed dramatically at his words. "Aren't you supposed to be proud of me, Coach Kevin?"

"Don't call me that," he said, frustrated.

Marissa scanned the empty school grounds, her brows furrowing. "What am I supposed to do at this time? It's so boring!"

"Walk around school," Kevin suggested. "You'll find plenty to do, I promise."

"Okie dokie, Coach!" Marissa replied, chuckling at his irritated expression before jogging away innocently.

Kevin sat at the back of the homeroom classroom, glancing at Jina and Chul chatting animatedly. Marissa urged him to sit closer, so he sat behind her desk, raising an eyebrow at the empty seat in front of him.

'How is she late?' he wondered.

Just then, Marissa awkwardly entered the homeroom, only to be stopped by Mr. Rivera at the front of the class.

"Late for my class once again, Miss Floris," Mr. Rivera said, his expression one of boredom.

"Sir, I swear I actually came to school early! I was here by six, believe it or not," Marissa exclaimed, her eyes wide as she tried to explain.

"Sure, you were," Mr. Rivera replied, sarcasm lacing his tone.

"I'm not lying, sir! No one told me they give free food in cafeteria early in the morning!" Marissa insisted, her voice strained.

"You would have known if you'd read the school website," Mr. Rivera shot back.

"Huh?" Marissa said, a baffled smile spreading across her face. "Who actually reads the school website?"

Kevin shook his head at the scene, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth as he returned to his phone.

Marissa walked toward them; her smile bright as she waved enthusiastically. "Hello!"

"Mr. Rivera let you go?" Chul asked, shocked. "He doesn't seem to be in a good mood today."

"He let me go because I actually came early!" Marissa declared, plopping down into her seat.
