I am not entirely proud of this, but I literally couldn't think of more than I could do for this.

Mimi couldn't deny that she felt like she was in her element right now. Halloween was fast approaching. The time for scares and fun. Fancy dress shops were selling fast for those that needed a good costume and fast. Trick or treaters are bound to fill the streets at night. Spooks will come out for their fun in the night. The question is, will real monsters mix with the humans, holding a secret truce, as their stories are being celebrated? It would be an experience if that were true. Then again, maybe it was best to not tempt fate and bring everyone's attention to the real supernatural. After all, the creatures like the Yeti and Igor would probably be put in if people found out they were real.

The mindset that Mimi had in mind right now was perfect for her. If there was one of many things that she loved, it was throwing a party. The atmosphere, the music, the liveliness, and everything else in a nice package was in the palm of her hands right now. Since Halloween was coming, she volunteered to organise a party in the pavilion. A Halloween show was already set and they were rehearsing for it but that wasn't enough for Mimi. It was a good time for her to start planning a social event for everyone to have fun.

She loved parties! She loved throwing them too! Any chance for her fabulous spot to shine. Halloween was the perfect time to show her natural talent at this! This is going to be freaky fabulous!

"Boo!"

Mimi jumped out of her skin as a spider was deposited on her desk, halting her scribbling. She spun around on her chair, and was met face to face with Misty, grinning like an imp.

"Misty!" Mimi scolded, picking up the plastic insect with her forefinger and thumb.

"Did I scare you?" Misty smirked, snatching her prized possession from the manicured hand.

"Of course you did! You're lucky I'm not that scared of spiders like Sprout is." Mimi sighed heavily. Just focus on the task at hand. Misty pouted that she wasn't getting more of a reaction. What is so important to Mimi that she wasn't making this game fun? Misty glanced over Mimi's shoulder. Mimi continued to ignore her, believing that the mischief maker would get bored and leave her alone to plan.

"It takes a mischief maker to plan the perfect Halloween party." Misty declared, snatching the sunshine yellow pen out of Mimi's hand. Mimi let out a shout and started to chase Misty around for her pen to be given back. Misty let out a cackle and jumped onto the bed, making it an improvised trampoline. It kept the pen out of Mimi's reach. "Admit it, Mimi: you need my help with this. But it will cost you."

One, Misty was being unsafe by all this jumping.

Two, she still had her shoes on, causing mud to be rubbed on the already freshly clean sheets! Seriously?! Laundry was just done this morning!

And three, as much as Mimi didn't want to think about what kind of mischief during the planning of the party, she could see a small opportunity here. The question is, would she regret it? Sadly she can't question it that much it seemed. Misty was determined to do something and boy was she going to keep pestering until she got her way. If Mimi doesn't start finding common ground, this could be a disaster.

"Tell you what? If you help me with the party set up, I'll do your chores for a week." Mimi bargained. It wasn't ideal, but it was a start. Can't get something for nothing after all.

"I would prefer a month, but I'm not pushing my luck." Misty sighed, finally stopping in her bouncing. She finally gave Mimi back her pen, and climbed off of the bed. Hopefully the stains from her shoes didn't cause too much damage to the bedsheets. They were a little expensive. Mimi turned back to her list. Just a few more final touches.
